Fuckin´crude and interesting demo-tape that reminds me in some parts the one from Ancient Rites.
Samael and Ancient Rites, yes.
European black metal (Not Scandinavian) is pure gold.
A blueprint for "Under the Moonspell" (1994)... which was a blueprint for "Wolfheart"(95)>
Reminds me a little of early stuff from the Greek scene like Rotting Christ or Varathron, in that it straddles the line between death and 1st wave black metal, with all those cool atmospherics. Mediterranean metal, maybe?

Lol this is an interesting demo... Sounds like it was recorded live in a basement. The band has almost no time (in terms of playing tight), but it feels raw and uncut. I think it's great they released all of these older songs in under satanae... Everyone deserved these masterpieces of songs in better quality.
No. The original version, raw and wild, are by far better than the smoothed sell out version they rerecorded. That's just sellout. Really a shame.

Nope.
Not at all by any means. It has its appeal with that raw sound but nowhere near as good as Wolfheart and Irreligious.

Good stuff. Although I gotta say that every one of these new bands in the early 90s sounded the same in their first one or two releases.
