As I heard from near and dear ones that 2023 is the worst year to immigrate to Canada. Few of the people despite getting PR this year are planning to stay for a year in India and then move to Canada as India is quite safe for the recession scenario.

I think best thing is to rent an airbnb see the apartment and then get the lease its a foreign land and you cant hold anyone accountable if you dont like what they like .

A quick question to you: how do we take medicines like dolo or paracetamol? No doctor was willing to give an entire list of prescriptions and we are confused about this medicine packing. Could you please tell us something about this?
Hey! if you can’t get a prescription it’s ok, just keep the bills from the chemist that should suffice.

Since you know french then why didn't you thought of moving to different provinces? Like Montreal, Quebec or anywhere in quebec province.
Bcoz that would have given limited exposure of English to my daughter - specifically after Bill 96 (language restrictions in Quebec)

Hi Reja, in my experience it takes 7-8 months to reach B1/B1+ level if one spends 3-4 hrs on French every day and little more on weekends. CLB 7 is doable in a year but with a lot of dedicated study time and a good mentor /teacher. You can watch my video on “my first 6 months learning journey” that would give you some idea.
