    Thank you, Dr. Papu . Yes, the issue of the dead is strong and rampant among the Europeans big time, and Asians . I dont know about South Americans. Thank bro Ndhlalambi. Keep up the flame glowing.

    It's a fact that many people ignore: Christianity is not a property of any nation. History of the Christian Church explains this so well but few study it thoroughly.

    A good friend of mine had this to say about this conversation:
    I have listened to this and have a lot of respect for Dr Papu and the way he articulated himself in this podcast and as always at a very high level.
    Fundamentally I think he very cleverly set the foundation to end up with where he is at, so for anyone who is thinking otherwise this won’t help much.
    For example the way he cleverly and quite articulately stripped religion from culture and then classified it as higher than culture is really where the whole discussion fell flat as being on a level playing field.. it’s colonialistic in view and approach.
    Religion is part of culture you can’t strip it from it cause then you have an incomplete culture as it were… and that culture has no Center or fulcrum if you please…
    But a good discussion in all… there are some points I really enjoyed and others that are glaringly biased because obviously the one interviewing and the interviewee are within the same constituency… so it’s unavoidable… it’s staged more like a propaganda radio station during uMzabalazo or Fight for liberation 😀😀

      Greetings mavuvuful. Thank you for sharing this feedback from your good friend on our discussion. We truly appreciate your engagement with the content - this needs critical thinking to appreciate this perspective. Allow me, as the host of the show and an Adventist, to respond to these thoughts. I hope you can share this with your good friend.
      At the heart of this podcast, we aim to explore the Adventist African Perspective, grounded in the understanding that faith is not merely a cultural construct but a divine revelation that transcends and informs culture. Our intent is not to diminish or ignore the rich tapestry of African cultural identity but to highlight how Adventist Christianity interacts with and elevates Biblical knowledge and practice above traditional and cultural heritage. We quoted Isaiah 8:19,20 on who we should consult. This perspective flows from our right, as Adventists, to articulate and defend our faith and heritage, just as any other community has the right to share its worldview. From 44 minutes, we make a serious cse for all man everywhere to experience the goodness of Biblical gospel.
      Regarding the critique of separating religion from culture, we assert that while religion often emerges within cultural contexts, biblical religion, as we understand it, points us beyond the confines of human traditions to a universal truth rooted in God's will. This transcendent foundation is what we believe gives culture its ultimate centre and fulcrum, aligning it with eternal principles rather than transient societal norms. We respect differing views on this matter and value such dialogues as opportunities to broaden understanding, even when perspectives diverge.
      As for the perception of bias, we acknowledge that our discussions are framed by our Adventist worldview. However, this does not diminish the depth or sincerity of the conversation. On the contrary, it underscores our commitment to provide a platform where we, as Adventists, can share our convictions honestly and robustly. Just as many voices during uMzabalazo unapologetically advocated for liberation, we unapologetically defend the principles of our Adventist Christian faith, which we believe liberates individuals spiritually and morally.
      Thank you again for watching, engaging, and sharing your thoughts. Your feedback enriches our dialogue and challenges us to continue refining how we communicate our message. We hope you’ll join us for future episodes as we explore these complex and vital topics.
      Do not hesitate to ask us any questions on these videos and if you want us to discuss further for clarity and learning

    Going to Church on Sabbath was Jewish custom, Jesus Christ was a Jew too. Luke 4:16-17, Acts 17:2-3

    • @MelVeeBroadcastingNetwork
      @MelVeeBroadcastingNetwork  14 днів тому +1

      No Charles. You are misleading yourself and others with such poor theology. Jews only existed as a nation after the birth of Jacob's sons. The first Jew was Abraham? So, Where were Jews in Genesis when God created the world? The reason for keeping the Sabbath is because God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh. If the Sabbath is a Jewish custom, then marriage, business and all wealth-related practices are Jewish customs. Now you know that is a lie, right.
