“'The Unforgotten Name' is a song about the mark left on the heart by an undying love. Even in its absence, when we feel we have nothing at all, we can still find inspiration in cherished memories to become better than we were.
Featuring vocalist Jon Pyres of Threads of Fate as a character you’ve known until this point as the heroic Lost Soul from our debut album “Solveig”." - Seven Spires
Coming off their critically praised sophomore album, "Emerald Seas", Seven Spires are set to return with their third, and by far, most ambitious album to date, "Gods Of Debauchery" on September 10, 2021.
"There is a ton of influence from video games, films, and TV soundtracks such as Skyrim, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Lucifer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Marvel films, and many more, plus our love for classic Kamelot, Dimmu Borgir, Fleshgod Apocalypse, and Late Romantic Classical Music. The most important part of making art is staying true to yourself, and we unapologetically did exactly that, which meant exploring every corner of what we love about music, and constantly pushing the technical limits of our own musicianship," the band says about the making of "Gods Of Debauchery".

Adrienne Cowan has the voice Ive always wanted! And working hard to acheive that. I watch all her videos and am learning everything I can from her. I've sung opera for many years and now Im learning to growl because of her! My absolute inspiration!

Seven Spires makes music on a level I haven't seen before. The ability they have to tear open your emotional system and make you ugly cry out all those anguished feelings and replace it with that calming aftermath when you feel like you're about to start healing.. It's sensational. Their music speaks to me in a way I've never felt before.
Watch Seven Spires explode in the coming year. They will dominate the metal world for the next era.

Could not agree more, they're on a totally different level than any new metal introduced in the last couple of decades in my opinion. Not saying all other is crap but Seven Spires has something special.

@@labalus2 it's the mix of black, death, power, and symphonic metal. They can go full black metal, full death or full power all in one album and its all symphonic.
Not a lot of bands can do all three like that.

I'd say Noa of scardust, tatiana, Floor, Brittney slayes, and maybe some gems on the fringe that go unnoticed whom I can't immediately think of...but all of those I would say are the top of the game of versatility between harsh and clean and register navigation.

Who the hell is cutting onions?!?! WHOOOOOO?! love this song, guys. The harmonies with Adrienne and Mr. Pyres were absolutely gorgeous and the lyrics are pure poetry. And I love how Jack referenced Bury You at the end. I legit can wait to hear the rest, my friends. 10/10 on this absolute TUUUUUUUUUUNE.

The first time I saw this I burst into tears when seeing Adrienne cry. Now practising clean harmonies to the growled parts, just for fun. This song is so full of emotion and beauty. The guitar solo is pure magic. Your music has raised me from the dead.
Exactly the same for me. I went through 2 horrible years of a deep dark depression. Suicidal, implosive! But when i heard Adrienne sing... She brought me back from that dark place. She is Lady Lightbringer! She brought music back into my life again. I have been singing opera going on 20 years now. But those dark years shut my voice up. Shut everything up. Except the dumb crap in my head. NOW... Im singing again... And growling now too! Started writing and now me and my husband wanna start buying equipment to start recording ourselves. Because my husband is also learning to growl. It's our therapy!

First time I ever listened to this band and it really surprised me. I usually have to listen to a song several times before saying "I like it". Not the case here. Now I want more!
i love the imagery in the lyrics hope is truely gone it seems when dreams are carcasses i love how in the screaming part you say light will prevail very powerful down in the heavy part it shows light can be in the heaviest of times this song is my favorite song so far off the album.

Beautiful and full of passion. The parts with the grunts were unexpected and shocking, but hey, this is Seven Spires. Very impressed with the guitar solo (4:00) and with the tear on Adrienne's cheek (1:52).
