I’m tempted to join but I have a 10.5 long kayak and the only way to power it comes from my arms. 💪 I wonder how many guys have been successful in tourneys with limited equipment like me 🤔
Anthony makes a great point about circling back a few hours LATER and giving the fish a chance to move back in 🤨👍 I’ve had some of my best days on my way BACK to my car where I hit a spot that I felt had dried up earlier in the day only to kill it all over again. 🙂 Great video, Chad 😀
As much as I love Florida and its mud holes, I absolutely cant wait till I start fishing lakes like Kentucky Lake. Looked like a fun trip and nice bass!
Here in White House TN for next couple days. Have my yak and lures. Never have been here before would love to be able to throw a line during next couple days. Any suggestions???
Just that you can also use it for bigger fish like redfish and Striper should you decide to do those series, other than that the 26” is probably all you need.
@@ChadHooverFishing yes i just did so cal to ky i left sunday afternoon in cali got to ky early tuesday morning only slept 4 hours the full trip. drove around 14-15 hours first day with stops for gas and to let dog drink and use bathroom. slept then drove straight through a ton of hours the next day same type of stops only, i think total was around 36 hours. then i slept like 12 hours. lol. the way i did it was crazy fast and you drove through a lot of areas at night. the better would be to slow it way down fish at all the cool spots on the way and get better memories of a trip like that.

C’mon up for the KBF Trail in September. By the way, outstanding showing in the Challenge Series, you freaking crushed them brother.
@@ChadHooverFishing thanks bud and I just might have to do that!
@@eric_schaaf Exactly!
Any recommendations on how to lock your kayak down to your roof racks for the times you need to leave your kayak on the roof while at a hotel.
It's a beautiful area, I visited there years ago & just about wanted to move there.
It’s really beautiful and it’s a fishing town so I love that about it the most

I love it there
Chad getting ready to register with KBF. Newbie question; Which size Ketch board do I need? Any advantage of buying a 32 inch? Thank you

Man those fish are light colored compared to where we are ours are almost black
What type of measuring board was Anthony using? Looked very practical.
Ketch measurement board

I heard Kentucky and Tennessee lakes have highest quality water.
Can’t seem to find a pond or lake in my town that hasn’t been chained off and pay to enter smh
Sounds like you need to get out of town then Richard
