Hi Jay - I just bought an ONN large party - the one in this video - I am wondering - is it normal to hear a hiss from the tweeters if you use it nearfield facing you in a computer desk setup? I'm really enjoying the sound and the lights are amazing but if I go lower volume on a video that isn't a song, there will be very audible hiss from the tweeter. If there is a quiet part of a song I sometimes hear it also. If I push volume up some more it goes away and if a song is playing, I can't hear this. It's only quiet parts of songs where I can sometimes clearly hear it or if I turn on just like no song and lower volume level. I don't think it's a defect with my unit because it sounds well and normal otherwise with no issues, I think maybe its just a very powerful amplifier built in that gives some white noise if you are running them quiet and you are rather close to it but would like to know if this sounds normal because I wish it didn't have this but I don't want to exchange if they all do.

@@JaysStraightUpReviewsI have two of the ONN second Gen speakers for my bedroom I may take them back and get the JBL 110’s . I have only had them two weeks so I’ve still got some time to return them . however right after I purchased these I wanted something for my living room so I went out and bought two of the JBL 710s lol needless to say definitely plenty of power for my home I still like the budget speakers for the back part of the house but I think I want a better sound so I think I’m going to upgrade to the 110s for my smaller speakers. As usual another great video was very good information. I got the 710s for $689 each so after tax the pair of them came to $1490 so I came out pretty damn good I think. 😃

I got this onn speaker for 87$ at walmart and I feel like I won the lotto. 😅😅
The medium or the large?
ONN
On headphones you can barely tell the difference
If you have some good bass headphones the difference is very noticeable.
i sold my jbl after hearing a onn large speaker. the onn sounds better to me. i might buy a second one
I'm not sure what you are hearing, but at least your ears are saving you some $$. 😆
Onn sound like trash after the new Gen came out. Facts.
The second gen has a fuller sound, but not as loud as the first gen. First gen build quality was really cheap, like those cheap Chinese speakers you see on import sites. The lights, buttons and overall build on the second gen is more modern looking compared to the cheap-o design of the first gen.
Do you still have the jbl xtreme 3
Yes!
Oh
@@JaysStraightUpReviewsHow does it compare to the Onn speaker in the video?
