The sad thing is that this show had so much potential and would have run for years. And as much as they tried and did a good job carrying on considering the circumstances, it just wasn't the same without John Ritter. Still find this show hilarious even today. xxx
This was posted like eight years ago, but what the hell, I'll reply anyway. I agree. I feel they handled Paul's death really well, and I know John would have wanted the show to continue without him, but adding David Spade for comic relief wasn't a smart move. I love David Spade but yanking him in to the show was a bad move just because he's funny. The show really started to go downhill towards the third season as I feel the show focused too much on Jim and C.J.'s relationship-which I really cared little for-instead of the raising of the Hennessy girls and Cate trying to cope with the loss of Paul. Just my opinion. Still a great show-one of my favorites-but it could have and should have continued on with the Hennessy family.
@@traviskent4127 The premise of the show died with Joihn Ritter, without him it just fell apart since the idea of the show is how a father deal with their daughter's boyfriends. That's why Big Bang Theory call it quit the moment that Parsons say he was leaving, trying to continue a show when your big star left is just beating a dead horse.
I don't know...If John hadn't died and the show had continued, I still think the writers would have begun to struggle once Bridget and Kerry weren't "teenagers" (hence the title) anymore. Although maybe it still could have referred to them as "teenagers" in the metaphorical sense once they entered their twenties?
I used his character here as a model for me becoming a father. It was unexpected, and not having much of a father myself, I needed all the help I could get. It's working really well so far.
John was a real guy. Just like Robin. Williams. They may be gone but never forgotten. Thanks for this clips. Good way to laugh with the crew again. ,😍🙏❤️
Bridget: I just talked to Amanda who talked to Michelle who talked to Walker who's dating Josie that YOU Paul: Hey Kyle kissing Kerry meant NOTHING Bridget: Barrowed my sweater what?? Paul: YOU BARROWED HER SWEATER???? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I loved watching this show !! They really brought real life situations into play the cast role played well off each other I still enjoy watching the reruns and blooper reels and funny moments
@@anannonymouscoverartistIronically, if the show had continued, in the later seasons I think they would have given Rory a "brother" (in the form of a younger male cousin whom the Hennesseys take in), if only in the surrogate sense. And Rory would have begun to sympathize with Bridget's role of having to be responsible for younger siblings (again, even if only as a surrogate).
Amy Davidson is SO DAMN PRETTY! Get her back on a TV show. KC's got Big Bang. Amy needs a show too ya know. Im passing around a hat - and Im watching so pony up some cash! *You too Tommy boy! (Tom Shadyac)
Great tv dad and would of be a greater dad to his daughter! RIP Ritter! Soo sorry for his daughter! Loved this show because of him! Dont Mess with the middle child i LOVE karrie!
That was a great show. And it was sad that John Ritter died. And can you imagine if they did a reunion about it? But it wouldn't be the same without him. You know, but it was a funny show and I like Carrie. She is funny.
John Ritter quite possibly one of a kind. No one will ever replace him. Missing John Ritter!
"Kerry? Jason's on the phone."

LOLOLOLOL I love that even Paul started chasing after him 😂😂😂😂

I actually preferred the third season more than the second which I preferred to the first, but I think he would've made them much better.
