Why are the monthly completion rewards so bad lately? Used to have mounts, ensembles, and arsenals there.
Probably people complaining about the FOMO
they need to get away from these garbage end of the point thing and get like mounts and ensembles in the end reward. this random nonsense stuff should be what we buy not full ensembles and mounts

The end rewards have been so lackluster lately the only reason I complete the log is for the extra tender.
I think the goal is to disincentive us from actively aiming for the bonus items, to keep us from completing it first day of the month, and minimize FOMO. I don’t necessarily agree with this philosophy, but it makes sense to me from a game design perspective.
Why put the good stuff as the reward when they can force you to burn all your tender for it. They know it’s the most sought after and you are going to buy it. Also the entire trading post system is built around FOMO otherwise they would just make everything free and not have a limited currency to buy it in the first place

truly unfair number of mounts to purchase, and they make the TARGET your reward for completing the month? Absolutely terrible.
Along with separately moggable gloves and wrists, I want Lefthandedness! There truly is no modelwise excuse anymore, just flip animations.
I'd also like to be able to flip non-symmetrical shoulders/gloves/wrists, like the watch on the other wrist.
Spirit of Competition has historically been a WoW celebration of the Olympics if I'm not mistaken (and less about Horde vs Alliance)
i love how every month the reward we work towards is always the most dogcrap item in the entire thing. like it would be more worth if it was something everyone will use like a mount or wep mog but its always these dumb back pieces or a pet no one cares about... like why? it almost makes me not wanna even farm the trading post all so i can not get the crappy reward at the end.
Then don´t! Nobody forces yout to get anything they offer, but they try to offer a bit of everything, so at least everybody has the chance of getting something they prefer. it´s always mounts mounts mounts i got 500+ mounts and can only ride one at the time, i prefer the gimmick stuff much more than one overpriced mount i rarely use.

I'm disappointed in that we have to buy BOTH mount separately. Oh well, I still have the frozen mount from June, so that and the murloc pet.

The faction-bent cat and wolf mounts look great, but I don't have much use for ground mounts. Where am I going to use them, Eversong and Azuremyst? The rare outdoor dungeon? Cool designs though.
They could be flying mounts...

I'd be a bit more specific even onthe mounts. It's an Orc mount with Nelf armor, and a Nelf mount with Orc armor. Definitely grabbing both.
The wolf with the night elf armor looks very good. Don't think the saber really matches with the orgrimmar armor.
Wolf really does look really awesome fits with the theme of the Night Elf Wolf God.

I dig the mounts, but beyond that it's definitely a save month.

I can confirm I will only grind the reward bar for the tenders, that back piece is nothing I would ever wear on any alt. I'll get the wolf and cat mounts for sure and maybe that stormhammer, it's pretty cool.

I am hoping that the red version of them comes up soon, but I'll definitely get these too, although they do look very much like the ones I have bought from the black market auction vendor, one of the differences being the glow colour of either green or blue.
How you are with the wrist slot is how I am with the head slot. I would love to have a character where glasses and a hat. It would make a mage pop.
Storm hammers are cool. Pass on the rest. I feel like since I’ve been playing in 10.2 there really hasn’t been a really good month. It’s all goofy shit

The wands are the same appearance as the Mage only wands from Classic if im not mistaken.

Ideally spend but I think I'm too indebted because of all the bikini month items, including the surfboard that I froze... And knowing bli$$ard the prices will be extortions again.
This system is getting on my nerves. I've never seen a game with a battle pass that prevents you from getting all that you paid for and makes you wait possibly years to see it again.
I think they purposely prevent us from buying items so they can be lazy and create fewer items for future months. Either that or the conspiracy theory that they want to condition us into begging for Tenders in the cash shop.
I'm hoping we finally get the proper red cloak-shoulders. The one we got some months back didn't match the cloak (and also had a different name).

I'm grinding normal Nathria because the all red plate set from there feels like it was made for Blood DK (and I main UH).

I did not get anything this month i saved. I will save till at least September or October. September is my birth month and October i love Halloween and all things spooky they better bring it. I might get the watches depending on how much they are i might get the companion pet maybe . They do bring them back around so who knows. I am a very thrifty woman. Those wings are pretty so i really do not know it all depends on how expensive things are.They really should lower the cost of things or give us more tinder.
Night Elf Horde Mount and Orc Alliance Mount looks awesome! 100% getting those mounts along with the hammers.
The murloc pet is a must-have. The cat and wolf mounts look great, and depends on the price.

yeah the rewards for the trading post have been real stupid for a while now. I really hate how they done it.
If they can pump out new mounts every month for the trading post , and all the unused mounts in the data base .
How can they not have a 600 / 700/ 800 mount achieve in War Within something cool for these totals?
The end of month rewards should be the mounts. Working to get a literal target on your back by the end of the month is ridiculous. That's a 200 unit item, max.

They said that the fill the bar rewards would be the most desirable. This is not even close.

I do like the bluish purple yellow butterfly wings, but I already have the monarch ones from when they were a reward from completing the fill the bar so I don't need those
The last mount that I bought was the under light behemoth. It was a big waste. Because the mountains had such muted sounds that were generic ASF and no special sounds whatsoever or particle effects or anything. Meanwhile, the wave whisker fish mount had all of those things..
To your question of if you get the opposite faction version if you buy 1, I was wondering that about the mounts. Not like it hasn't happened before, e.g. buying certain of the Horde Wyvern's give you the Alliance Gryphon version.
I thought the purpose of the monthly completion reward was to ENCOURAGE players to participate? Do the devs understand that? I'd argue they either don't understand or just don't care. The reward the past few months has been nothing more than a practical regifting of some worthless garbage they bought with the tickets they won playing skee-ball at Dave & Buster's...
These mounts are pretty sick. Even if they are ground mounts in a skyriding world
I can see what Blizzard is doing already - They're creating FOMO. Say you didn't have enough tenders to get everything you wanted in a month or you're returning and find out about an item that was available a year ago... Then bam, it's on the shop now for $12... Like the current Arsenal: Cosmic Weapons Cache... These weapons were in the trading post some months back.
It was only a matter of time before the system starting getting twisted.
Every month is a save month until the blood hunter ensemble comes back
The trading post has become absolute shit after the first 12 months. I have 12k points, because I'm not excited to buy recolors and unimaginative garbage.

The hammer is alright, but ground mounts are lame unless they have a unique function (trader, repair, bank, mog, extra rider, etc). The ground mounts are kinda alright, but honestly, this is a very weak serving. I will take the hammers and save some coins. Can we please get some adventure archtype clothing like we now see in the set lists? They have merchant, jeweler, grunt worker, etc. I would love to see stuff like generic dungeon crawler versions of the Rogue, Mage, Warrior, Archer and Monk, but with lots of pockets, backpacks, and other alternative function gear like rope or lantern instead of shield, or shields with alternative appearances, one with arrows in it with dings and dents, the other looking pristine. I mean where are the people with imaginations??! Put some role back in the play!

I really would like to get the cat and the Wolf but I only have 85 tinder at the moment so at the end of the run I'm going to have 1,085 tinder and I'm not going to be able to afford both so that really sucks when blizzard does crap like this

Wait a minute how do you get those Warhammer from pre-ordering because I have the epic edition and I just got the quest for the armor and it’s upgrades but I never saw anything about a weapon
Yeah I'm pretty sure there wasn't any weapons in the pre order. I only remember getting the ones that matched the OG transmog from one of the first few trading posts.
