Detective Mackenzie Bennett is hot on the trail of Carson, a suspected diamond thief, and goes undercover to catch him in the act. CHRISTMAS CATCH is a great movie, a thriller fairytale if I can call it. Felt like a fresh breeze with no annoying ads in between. I really loved Mac the female lead, whose clumsy and adorably weird personality never failed to add fun to the movie. I loved all the characters in the movie. It's going to be on my watch again list!

My wife and I are, quite simply, Christmas movie fanatics. We save movies we love onto external hard drives. Sadly, this one did not make the cut. The positive reviews here outnumber our experience.
We understand many films in general, the viewer ignore must little inconsistencies or allow for poetic license. But the main actress and male star left a gap too large to bridge. Lauren Holly, a super fine actress, was wasted and Andrew Bushnell did what they could to keep this afloat.
The beginning showed real promise but then, like Malibu hillsides, this just slid down in to the abyss.
But glad many enjoyed it.

She hinted at the mixer when her friend showed interest in him at he's taken because she told her that she will let her know if anything changes and I couldn't think of any other reason why her friend couldn't date him? Did anyone get the impression that Reid was not single also?
