I meant to make this comment in the last video, but am I the only one who really likes the fence just the way it is? I think picket fences are overrated! This looks like a cottage garden you would see in the countryside in England and it lets you see into your front yard, showcasing all the beautiful plants and hard work you’ve put into it!
The idea of placing a boulder on the corners to keep the hose off the plants is a good one. I’ve been trying to figure out what to do about that problem. Thanks!

Did anyone else notice how tidy the neighbor's back yard was? I saw some raised beds that look new. I think having Jim as your neighbor would motivate anybody to get out & do some gardening. I mean, look his vegetable garden - looks fantastic in the drone shot! Can't wait to see all the stones put in place, especially the retaining wall & steps. Well done!

Your garden is looking beautiful and with the addition of the stone pathways, it will be magical. I also love the idea of using pathways to direct people throughout your garden, in general. I remember our local botanical garden does this and uncovering the hidden gardens within was always so much fun.
I must say, it's pretty cool watching from above as you talk about what you want to accomplish. I saw yrs ago on an episode of Martha Stewart to use copper pipe with caps around the gardens edge, I did that and it looks so nice as it's turned green over the yrs.
I love that you are assembling your picket fence (skills!) instead of buying ready made pieces or, worse yet, using vinyl (yes there are pros to vinyl, but its plastic!).
Spring is off to a great start in your garden. Love the stone retaining wal and steps. That will add so much charm to the entry. And I also like how you knew right from the start that the mailman will use a short-cut , and you worked in a path and gate. Very smart.
