Craig from Red River ATV Park came out to NTR Offroad Park for the Fall Mud Ball and brought his 1987 Samurai to sling a little mud in the pits.
After bolting up the 1200 Ninja engine, they decided to bolt up the 8x8 conversion and see what it could do. Aside from tweaking the gearing, this build just works!

Megatruck of the ATV park
Wow a ninja swap, now thats something unique 😃
My dad put that motor in that Sammy about 8 years ago still going strong that man owns redriver ATV park check it out
Post links up on this build, wanna c more!
If it was mine id take those tires off and put some 34inch assassinators/superior traction tires from atv and sxs. I had a old samurai with a 302ci v8 from a old Mustang and a 50 shot of nitrous and it had 30in black mamba's on it (they wasnt mine they were a friends but he'd let me use them but my stock tires was a set of 31×10.50xr15 super swamper boggers) and a 6in suspension lift and dana 44 axles from a jeep Rubicon with the front and rear lockers and a snorkel. It was the ultimate weekend 4x4 cause we could take it with people who had trucks and keep up with them or we could ride with the people who had atv/sxs and go anywhere they'd go. Ill try and either post a pic of mine or at least a link to my fb pics of it. But regardless your samurai is badass and I hope you post a lot of videos of it offroading and maybe try some rock crawling with it and pist those videos as well. Thanks for reading my comment and have a grwat day.
Someone please explain to me what year there was a 1200 "ninjee" engine
Thanks for the great video guys
I wanna know how reverse is their
streetbike motor into sami trans
Cool ride, but basically it is not 8x8,just has an extra wheel on each side-yeah-it can give more traction but the power terrain still the same which in this case is 4x4.
Yeah that's what I was thinking. Nobody calls a dually pickup a 6x6.
Bet that rig wont be rolling anytime soon
dump or smart or just the south?
Man I wanted u to pop that hood so bad lol
My dad built it for him about 8 years ago
Ryan Parks any pics or link to pics also the man driving said he built it I'm sure lol guessing he didn't
Man that was sweet... power-too-weight ratio FTW.
to*
12,000 rpm and not a whiff of torque.
snap saw it first haha
That's rice on rice violence!
Jed Campet's older brother; JUDD Clampet aka Southern Santa
if it had 8 paddle tires on it . in high gear it would skim over the pit fast !!!
Cool but gutless
Mega trunk
Cool build but 1200 has a flate plane crank and makes great hp at 10,000+ rpms and but doesn't make dick of any torque below that. Kinda makes it worthless with 1,000 pounds of of drive train weight
but gearing can keep it at 10k rpms
A V8 swap and z a lift kit it can do anything
Legal
