    The 3rd set is drama
    1. 1:01:40 Juhl pushes away Matsutomo racquet and gets a warning
    2. 1:03:03 Double hit by Pedersen, complained by the Japanese pair. Im surprised the umpire didnt see that. The Japanese pair stopped playing because they can see it too.
    3. 1:13:35 The last point that the Danish pair will win. They were up 19 - 16 and ended up losing five straight points 19 - 21. At 1:15:03 they even tried to stop the Japanese pairs' momentum, but the Japanese were so calm and composed towards the end of the match.

    I am so glad that the Japanese pair won. Everybody but the umpirer saw Pederson's clear double hit in the third set. The umpirer was either corrupted or just simply poor. But as a Dane, I am ashamed of the unsportmanship of Pederson-Juhl. They are generally recognized as cheaters in the global badminton circles - and rightfully so.

    • @_RoseDawson_
      @_RoseDawson_ 2 роки тому +5

      She retired because (according to the media) she got married in 2020,
      But I think the main reason is because, Japan already has a lot of WD top pairs...
      And if you think about it,
      This is the fault of Olympic Qualifying Rules;
      The Olympics only allow max of 2 pairs from each country ,
      And not only that,
      If 2 pairs were to be registered
      Those pairs must both be in the top 8 of the world ranking.....
      Again, of you think about it--
      This is very unfair for those players get to be disqualified because the limit (of 2 pairs) has already been reached.
      Imagine allowing those mediocre players to participate in the Olympics.
      This makes Olympics difficulty level much much lower as compared to super 1000 (or even super 750) events.
      This is why, no matter what's highly covetted Olympics is
      I don't have the highest respects to those who win it.
      Cus again
      The qualification rule is very broken.
      I would rather praise those who remain world number 1 for a long time than those who win Olympics
      LoL

    That’s the simple slap for Danish girls, despite of their skills, their attitude was the worst
    1. Kamila insist to change the shuttle even when umpire says no, she even push arrogantly Misaki racquet when she asked to return the shuttle
    2. Cheating Pedersen in 9-10 3rd set point, when she clearly double hit the shuttle, she have to be honest as an athlete, gladly Gillian clark notice it, and thankfully Camera spot it as well, danish will shame if they ever Watched it again.
    Very happy to see danish disappointment face in the end.
    Well Deserved Misaki/Ayaka.

    • @jimw8615
      @jimw8615 4 роки тому +45

      Pedersen is very dishonest. This is not the first time. The previous time she continued to hit the shuttle after it has already landed on the ground. She won the point and celebrated. Disgraceful, didn’t expect it to come from danish culture. She is representing the nation....

    • @reactiongo4938
      @reactiongo4938 4 роки тому +30

      jim w lol its not Only Pedersen to be honest. Almost All Danish player are like this, I found so many videos they are being dishonest. Its like their Culture
      Pedersen, Fischer, Boe by far are the worst.
      Even the new comer like Christansen and Axelsen, the only player I haven’t find being dishonest was Antnonsen.

      Also I have never seen any player or pair "admit" to a double hit. This is not something that can be expected from the players, as in the heat of the moment, not even themselves can always be sure. It is really up to the umpire. Pedersen did nothing wrong.

  • @jackburtonstwin

    The Japanese girls produced a couple of really bold cross court smashes to close out the third set. That's putting it on the line for the win. The cross court smash can be a huge surprise in doubles, but it can also open you up to the straight defensive drive reply that will strand both partners. Takes guts to go for that with so much on the line, and make it stick.
