This shotgun is literally $99. All criticisms have become invalid at that price. Can it safely fire a 12 gauge round? They wouldn't be legally able to manufacture them if they couldn't. A shotgun that will probably last you your entire life cost as much as dinner for two and a movie in today's money. End of story.
Just picked mine up. 125 to my FFL. They sell +3 tube extensions and adj folding stocks on thier site. I own better shotguns but at price I just had to grab one
I bought a used Mav 88 for 100 bux...Basically a Mossberg 500 with a different safety (Push Thru instead of the 500 Tang). Old 870s were good...For an older person or small frame female...You can get a Mossberg 88 Bantam 20 gauge for $198 at Wal-Mart. Don't buy a Turkesium POS!. BTW, it's unfair to compare an American-Made Hi-Point to these POC ....Hi-Point works... Check out Jame at TFB about his 500 rd burndowns. Mav 88 survived the burndown. NO TURKESIUM shotty has made it yet...HELL, a CHINESE-MADE SAVAGE survived (Even though it beat him to death)... Sez something don't it when a CHINESEUM shotty survives better than anything Turkesium?!? What Red-Blooded American would want to support an enemy of our only true Ally....Israel anyway?!? Chevette is the perfect name.
I have this exact same shotgun under the Citadel brand. Bought in May 2020 when it was the only shotgun available in my local gun shop, everything else was sold out because of Covid. Ive fired over 500 rds of all types through it including slugs. It has a modified fixed choke and nowhere in the manual included does it say not to shoot slugs. Remington says on the box of slugs that they can be fired through any choke. I wouldn't shoot sabot slugs, only foster type. After owning this shotgun for over 4 years I would say she's a fine operating weapon, Ive never any problems of any kind with it.
Iv got well over 500 though mine no problem. To sit and talk about a gun you haven't even shot yet is stupid man, as a gun seller and shooter you should know that. And the price is awesome and they are tough If there's things you don't like, upgrade it by the time you put the money into it getting different parts it's still going to be affordable and less then an 870 or mossberg NEW.
OMG .... YOU FINGERED THAT GFORCE FOR 6 HOURS..I BOUGHT 2 OF THE GFORCE $99. EACH.. I TOOK THE GFORCE TOO THE RANGE IT WENT BANG ALL 150.ROUNDS OF 00 BUCK I PUT THROUGHT IT. DAMN..... THIS GUN MY NOT SHOOT 10,000 ROUND BUT IT WILL LAST A LIFE TIME WITH 99% OF THE POPULATION
Buy one that works and then buy one that takes work. Learn how it works. Either is a great option for someone who wants to get into it. I go cheap and I go quality. In everything I buy, I get burned, I learn. And I find GEMS. Great video. Your videos are good. Thanks for posting.
I shoot left handed, even though im right handed. I like where they put the extra shell holders. I've never seen one of these. Ive thought if buying a couple just for laying around tge house or taking into the woods when we're doing bonfires, cheap enough for me not to care about scratching. Im more concerned about how it pumps and shoots. I would rather not have a pistol grip.
@600autogasandguns I didn't hear you say that in the video, regardless it's a bad comparison. The gforce is selling for $100, and a mossberg is about $500. That should definitely be a factor that was brought up.
You can get a MAV 88 which is 500 with a different safety and a plastic trigger guard for 198 in 20 gauge at Wal-Mart and 12 or 20g for $229 to $239 at Academy or Sportsmans Warehouse. Only traitors would buy a Turkesium or Chinesium shotgun. Get a used Mav 88 from a pawn shop for around 100. Used 500 with walnut stock for 200 or less. @@alexmanki
If you're just using it for home defense, and it goes bang every time, why spend all that cash. Now, if you're going hunting, maybe you want something flashy to show-off to the guys.
In my garage, I have rows upon rows of tools, and then a half dozen big, black and yellow topped tote boxes, too. Some of those tools, for example, a hammer drill, are cheap Harbor Freight tools. They work quite well, once a year, or maybe the once every five years, that I'll use a hammer drill with SDS Plus or SDS Max bits. On the other hand, I have tools I use almost monthly, e.g. battery operated drill, impact drill, a 6" circular saw, etc. Those tools are higher quality, e.g. Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukee, etc.. I bought this shottie specifically as a self-defense weapon to stash in my bedroom, or maybe as an occasional truck gun (though I seldom carry a shottie around for that purpose). If it gets stolen during a burglary, I won't cry as I might losing a $1500 or $6000 Class III AR SBR. I trust it enough to stake my life on it (or will, after I've put 100 round through it without jamming issues). I have a handgun to use as backup, or to use to get to my rifle. That's a SIG, but again, it's an extra one that I have put a lot of cash into, that'll work every time, but won't be a huge loss if it's stolen. That's where this class of weapon fits. Yeah, if I had a higher quality shotgun, I'd probably put a red dot on it, a custom stock, and so forth. The only thing I'll add to this is a light, and I haven't decided which one I want to use. (I have a Streamlight Pro-tac with a red dot that's too large for the rifle I built for it, and might be perfect on a shotgun.) Anyhow, this one at $100 was perfect for me. I haven't fired it, but all the mechanical functions seem smooth and consistent. I'll get out over the next couple of weeks and test it.
Update: I went out and fired this GForce shotgun last week, and gave it to two friends to try it as well. I started by feeding a shell into the ejection port to load and fire a round at a time. I never got to the point of loading the tube and exercising the entire gun. I ran 12 ga tactical 8 shot, 1450 FPS, fairly aggressive shells. I haven't fired a shotgun in maybe ten years, but this thing nearly took my arm off. Well, I'm getting old, and figured out that I was probably getting too soft to fire a shotgun, until I passed it to my buddies who shoot, and they dropped the thing like a hot rock after they tried a couple of shots. I'm going to try a shell with something more like 1200 FPS, and adding a front light to add weight and maybe mitigate recoil. I'm not sure if the rear pad can be modified on this low-end shotgun, but maybe that's coming, too. Still seems like a nice rifle. However, at this point, unleashing 5 rounds with this one at an armed intruder might leave me in ER for a shoulder replacement.
You are comparing a stock G Force that has hardly had any rounds through it to a customized Mossberg. I have both. I have a feeling the dislike is actually coming from it not being made in America. I also have a Savage and to be honest if I was handed all three firearms and wasnt told who the manufacturers were, the Mossberg would seem of the lowest quality of the three. Now if I could only have one, it also would be the Mossberg but that is solely because of the reputation for reliability though I have never heard of anyone having a reliability issue with the other two manufacturers. If the foreign produced weapons were made in the states they would be priced much higher than the Mossberg. The Mossberg is as basic as you can get. Maybe I just have this opinion because I work in metal products manufacturing and so I know how things are made here in the states. Very few guys know metal manufacturing here compared to overseas. If India made weapons they would be the best by far I gaurantee it. They have the best metal workers in the world. Im rambling but I like the comparison videos though
