- A few days ago, the oficial copies of Asphalt Legends Unite, which is set to be Asphalt 9 new update and biggest expansion, coming on July 17th, appeared on some european countries digital stores on pre-sale. These copies, however, hide a catch behind all the items they provide once you buy them and open Asphalt Legends Unite, which I'll be discussing with you all today, as we get closer to Asphalt 9 new update patch notes, new informations and Asphalt Legends Unite release!

What's worst is the Asphalt Diamond currency only on Switch and Playstation. Idk what they use for but might be bad.
Also, for physical release, I assume it's just CD-Key where download may require in order to play in full. Once they insert the physical and run the game, they may claim some rewards for owning the media, which is not great, esp dealing with game server shutdown.
If I could recall again from the latest ALU article, Asphalt Diamonds is used to convert Tokens.

Asphalt Diamonds
A new currency will be introduced and sold in the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Stores: Asphalt Diamonds.
This currency will act as a conversion currency allowing you to convert them into Tokens inside Asphalt Legends Unite.
Asphalt Diamonds will be easily found in your platform’s store and allow you to take full advantage of each store’s wallet and benefits, while still be able to find and browse all our season and special offers in the in-game store as usual.
Please note Asphalt Diamonds will not be a substitute or replacement for Tokens in-game and you will still be able to use your current Tokens as usual.

They literally say the diamond currency is used for conversion to tokens for those two platforms' respective stores..
Most likely because there won't actually be a way to buy tokens directly. And possibly even the offers, with real money.
So they use a premium currency for that.

THANK YOU FOR BRINGING ATTENTION TO SWITCH! As a switch player we've had to deal with no season/legend pass/ special events for a while (2-4 weeks I stopped counting.) On top of that we haven't had drive syndicate seven or eight, and with Asphalt Unite around the corner switch players are quite confused and some frustrated if we will even get the chance to unlock the cars and rewards from those events. To even things out though we've had the opportunity to unlock the Faraday Future and the Ferrari SF90 for free, but hey it's the least Gameloft can do. Also these free unlocks only give a max reward pay-out of the car at 2 star.
There won't be any chance of you guys catching up. Hopefully these cars will come back once Unite arrives
I still remember a sentence by Cars On: Nothing good in the game comes free. Really I think I have some decent skills but my best car is just the Onyx from Starway

I left Asphalt 9 a month ago and recently started playing Forza Horizon 5 a week ago. Its only after I started playing FH 5 that I realised how scummy Gameloft is. If you guys are PC players just get FH 5. Its a one time purchase and you will enjoy the game thoroughly
I tried FH5 and I didn't like it too much, so I went back to the A9 grind

@@CarsOnGaming you should try The Crew Motorfest instead. Forza is known for being a stale game and Playground games don't listen to the players all that much.
How about forza motorsport 4 and forza horizon 1 on xbox 360?
Plus you can emulate xbox 360 games on pc using xenia

A9 has a lot of issues and now they’re doing worse for Switch and PS players, and also the poor people that got fired. I think I don’t have to go to a circus since Gameloft is already a circus itself 💀.
Imagine if GL screwed up so much to the point that some dedicated people in the community decided to make their own Asphalt 9.
At least I can still play Asphalt 8.
2 months ago someone posted on a9 subreddit that they are working at GL Barcelona and heard from their friends that Cluj will be closed and or the work will be transferred to Barcelona.
They also said that Barcelona already understaff before that so my hope for ALN won't be too high.

ANYBODY that starts playing the game now, on ANY platform is necessarily very much behind all the players that started playing when the game was released on their platforms. It's not an only-Playstation problem. Those players just have to make a wise decision on what cars to get in the game to close that gap faster.
Brutal... Usually, in reference to stock rank, I always did at least one layer of upgrades, with maxed 1 star nitro, and only started doing stock rank runs when someone on UA-cam started doing them and it was interesting.
Most cars are 100% useless at stock rank... hahaha.

There's nothing left to be done: at this point, it's a truth that Switch players will join Unite months behind in terms of content

@@Splatboy0612 sony allowed crossplay because of the fortnite account controversy but they are still against cross progression. devs have to pay sony extra money to allow cross progression which gameloft probably didn't want to do

While the Lambo Included is nice and it is one of the meta cars (at least I think it is), it isn't available in the standard multiplayer mode until right before Legend rank so most players will never get a chance to use it against others the normal way
Within 6 months I have almost 50 cars in the game (F2P)
The next 50 cars would probably take you another year. Trust me (f2p player. 109 cars, started in december 26, 2022)

Before Asphalt Legends Unite comes out should I unlock and star up all the cars I have because I have left a lot of cars to unlock and star up If I don't do it now will it effect my garage when the update comes out?
Nah, I don't think it will affect too much
Looking at the physical disc and cartridges for PlayStation and Switch, you’re better off just downloading the for free via the game shop on your respective consoles. 60% of the cars can be obtained through the daily events and career so it doesn’t make sense. The Countach LPI 800-4 is a good car to jump into Elite: A, but if the Imola, Valhalla, or any other elite cars will be in the garage levels, I don’t think spending $40 isn’t’ worth it. I can recommend it if your console doesn’t have enough storage space, then go for it. Even for me, I’m still used to the game being on my Oled Switch since I got it in the 2021 holiday season, when I was recognized for my work form my college. Maybe in a few years, it might sell cheaper, so I can care less about the code for currency. Now speaking of the situation on Switch, I don’t know when we’ll get the final patch to get the remains cars before July, so this is something that the Barcelona team might neglect us if they are planning to roll a next update. The Switch team could of had some members to help out on Android to help lower end devices to run the game smoother, and try to optimize emulation, if some players from PC still want to play A9: Legends Unite. I’m also worried that without the content being, but one thing you might not want to see are hackers and abusers finding ways to steal thousands of dollars on content and extremely difficult times on leaderboards to beat. Since I did mentioned that when Driver 555 was banned for the DS exploit.

Yeah your progress will remain the same. It’s just a massive extension of the game that doesn’t have to do anything to your progress, so it’ll remain the same. I was also worried about my progress getting deleted, but apparently it’s going to remain the same. 😀
Sadly consoles like Ps4 Ps5 and Nintendo Switch can't transfer account with ios and Android

I don't really have any high expectation about Asphalt legends unite. The only two thing I want are - It has to be fare for every player from every platform and An option to lower the high quality graphics (if the graphics are too high for some devices. I think, my pc can take the load of the graphics).

Isnt the value high for the bundle? Im on xbox so i cannot get it, but the currency included is enough to buy the pack. If you were to buy that many tokens in shop it would be about 160$ and the credits would be 20,000 tokens which is equal to around 700$ so 860$ just from the currency, but then i do not have the vette, mclaren, nor lambo so those add even more value on top of that for me at least. Id say thats a steal

If I had the power to be able to give those players who are way behind in advantage I would give him a few close to meta cars One of those being the Corvettes stingray it is the second best in the meta behind the Lamborghini. Again, it's no metacar but it's close enough that it can compete with it. Plus it'll come near the top of its class at four stars so you're getting quite a deal out of getting that car

It will match (cross-play) but it won't be able to move progression between platforms (no cross-save)

one more thing yesterday they gave patch notes about how cross platform will work and what i found was you can play with other platform but can save in multiple platforms if you want to play in pc you first have to transfer the progress to pc which just doesn't make sense of cross platform form 🤷🏼
