Press and HOLD the BRAKE pedal for 3 seconds, then RELEASE. Switch the key (or push button) to the OFF position, wait 1 second, then once more, switch it ON and OFF 3 times leaving it ON on the last push.

How To RESET your MyFordTouch Sync system:
ua-cam.com/video/95so5wU4OBA/v-deo.html
This sounds pretty stupid but if you follow the directions, it works! I would suggest watching the video a couple of times and then do it while watching the video. In my case it was a 2017 Ford Focus (Titanium Model)
I don't need a high-line TPMS system to tell me which specific tire is low. The cost of maintaining this type of system farrrrrr outweighs the benefits. The sensors are expensive, need replaced after a few years because of cheap batteries, the labour cost to install, relearn and retrain the sensors is ridiculous. With a low line system I never have to worry about replacing any sensors because there are no dedicated sensors. The low tire pressure light comes on, I take out my tire gauge and check the psi on each tire manually, add air to the offending tire(s) and the warning light disappears immediately - beautiful. Thank god my 2018 Ford Escape is a low-line system. No having to turn the key this way and that way 50 times, wait 200 seconds and repeat, just to get rid of the light, ridiculous lol
It didn't work for my 2015 Edge Sport
It worked for me but do I only need to do it once or x 4 I.e one time per wheel?
You are saying to press the start button 3 times, but you are actually pressing it 5 times which is required to make it work. Didn't realize why it wasn't working while listening to the instructions, so why when I actually watched you you perform the process. Thanks
My owners manual on my 2014 fiesta ST told me to press the hazard lights 3 times and it did pop up to retrain front left tire but when I would go to train it nothing would happen, no beep. Tried it a bunch of times and nothing. Thank God I found your video, went around the car first try and trained every tire within a few seconds. I appreciate the help👍
Wow so much easier than letting air out of each tire to train the position! Worked perfectly on the first try with my wife's 2017 Edge.
Thank you dude, worked perfectly. Tried it a couple of times and worked perfectly on the 4-5th try.
After I did this step, I had to go to vehicle settings and “store” the tire pressure.
I kept on doing the "press the hazard button 5 times way." It would show up for me to do the relearn but would not relearn. I did it your way and it did relearn. Thank you for posting this video!
Ayyyyy, it is September 17th 2023 and this work for my 2011 Ford fiesta SE with a key start, thank you kindly sir
Oh my gosh!!!
I’m 76 and it worked … if I can do it you certainly can do it!!!
Thanks for the video!!
what it has to do with your age? It will work even if youre 90 😀
2017 Lincoln MKZ, it worked on my 3rd attempt while walking thru the video. Saving for next time, Ty!
This literally worked it saved me so much stress i watched many videos on how to get that light off and either u need a scanner or their method worked. I did the steps right along with the video exactly like you did and it worked perfectly
Worked like a charm on my 2017 Escape with a key start.
I watched this video 8 times and tried it, didn't work.. then I watched it WHILE doing it and it worked. 😅 but anyway! Thank you so much!
Way faster to just rapidly hit the hazard button a few times
Because u have to have the tpms clicker and go around to each tire to reset or take a pen and let air out of each tire and hear a beep for each tire ad u go to the next and repeat on each once done turn the car off..
@beastlymclaren4631 it doesn't work on all Fords. Ford is ungodly inconsistent.
My sensor has never worked since I got the car new in 2017.
I just tried this a couple times and it does not do anything. I have a 2017 escape titanium 2.0 with tow package… any ideas what would be the issue? Or Ford forgot to put one in my car? LOL
Worked great on our 2013 Ford Escape key-start. I turned the key to position II instead of position I.
Ok .. great . THANKS .
2016 FORD ESCAPE WITH KEYS . RESET ..

same! everyone is using the key start with a hazard and it hasn’t done a thing for me haha
Thank you! This worked perfectly (once I actually did it correctly!). Saves a bunch of time and money having a dealer or tire store do it, or buying the training doohickey.
Worked like a charm! Did mess up once by not leaving it on the 1st 3rd time.
Yay! This method worked for my key start 2013 Ford Explorer as well! Thank you!
This worked like a charm on my 2018 Ford Edge Titanium. Thanks!

Worked perfectly on my 2016 transit!!

Totally worked
2011 Ford Explorer
🙏
@@ProTreeVideos do you do it for each tire?
@@ProTreeVideosI put 32 lbs in all the tires. In two days I did what you did and then light went out…but in 5 mins it was back on. I did it twice same thing, off then back on in 5 mins. I then checked by air pressure and all the tires were 32 but one was now 28. Would dropping from 32 to 28 make the light come back on? Must be a slow leak in that tire. Wouldn’t think dropping 4 lbs to 28 would make the light come back on?
Thx for the video... just what I was looking for and it worked flawlessly. Again THANKS!
Worked a treat thanks Ford focus 2015 tdci England
Worked great on our 2012 Escape. This is the process to use. Too many other ridiculous solutions on the internet.
Ey nice it worked on mine too
It worked first time! Honks and everything! Thank you!
Thanks for the video.... I just changed tires and wheels on my 2013 Ford Edge and used the process as shown to access the TPMS training program. My system goes into an accessory mode on the first push of the start button so I had to double up on the on-off sequence but it did eventually work and allowed me to train the individual sensors with the fob-like transmitter as recommended by the TPMS sensor mfg (Seineca). Again, I appreciate the information as posted. mardyn
2016 Fiesta ST. Worked on the 2nd try. Thanks!!
Omg yes finally something worked thank you
I did this twice but the “Tire Pressure Sensor Fault” is still popping up. Any suggestions?
TPMS are battery powered. Once the battery dies they no long work and need to be replaced. Cheap ones last 3-5 years. Good ones last up to 12 years. This just removes the code from the computer, but if the sensor is dead the fault will just keep returning until they are replaced and the computer is recoded for the new sensors.
Does a 2017 limited expedition have a screen somewhere that shows individual tire pressures? I can’t seem to find one so I’m assuming it has something come up when one gets low??
Thanks this worked on my 2014 Ford Fusion with a key start followed you while watching and it reset I just wanted to make sure it's working properly awesome video you can learn so much from UA-cam I think this is the new school everyone just teach each other 👏👏👍😄
Thanks so much. Couldn’t figure out how to get the stupid light off on a 2022 Ford escape at work. I was just about to push the car traffic

Thanks! Worked for my 2011 Ford Flex with key(not auto start) the VERY first time! Right when I was all set to go to O'Reilly!

Thank you very much! It works for my 2016 Ford C-Max Hybrid! Excellent!😃
I know this is a late ask from when the video was made but, I have a 2017 Ford edge and the front two tire sensors have stopped…sensing. Any thoughts as to if they Actually need to be replaced or if they just need to be retrained? Going to try this anyway but not sure if it’s the fix I’m needing. Thanks for the info and video regardless! Very helpful.
