Rod Hull was a legend. His dedication to the physical act, which he was often the target of, is second to none. Have you seen that clip where he's in a supermarket and the emu grabs his neck and throws him into a freezer.
I had totally forgotten that bloke they had with the white tash and beard (not Santa, the other one) who was handling the bike chain cleaner, and I am sure I must have watched all of those at Christmas as it was Tomorrow's World, that is where I will eventually live, all those wonderful things the future held ....shame most of it turned to shit :(
Whatever you might say of Rod, he's one of Australia's better light entertainment exports! In all seriousness though, he was a legend, absolutely hilarious in more adult settings as well.
Great stuff, and excellent Stuart/Stallone lookaike! Regarding the random selection of guests, my bet is they just got a runner to go around all the TVC studios and see who was on Wogan or guesting on Little and Large that week. Anyway, Merry Christmas and thanks for all the laughs!
Just watched Kim Justice's retrospective on Magnetic Scrolls so it was a bit weird to see that same bit of footage of the guy from Punch twice in one day. Turns out he was seeing Anita Sinclair at the time and helped write a couple of their games.
Yeah I think it was mentioned in passing. I'm genuinely surprised that nobody has written a docu-drama about the romance. Come on Millard, you can have that one for free, it would be a smash!
There was a Thunderbirds stage show? How? Didn’t Peter Cook & Dudley Moore do it already…oh look the puppets are wooden and walk funny. And the voice acting is as wooden as the puppets 😂 Literally minutes of fun!

Pull off a perfect fruit cut to Larry Grayson was f**king genius sir
Cheggar’s Drinks Pop. RIP.
This Tomorrows World feels like that Mitchell and Webb sketch about a game show at the end of the world / the ‘Event’
Phillipa foresster pre-robot wars was my cup of tea....I was probably 7 or 8 🤣
Treasure Island Dizzy. I miss that guy 🥚
If only I could like these videos 100's of times, more people might watch them. So well put together.

A panel show without Kris Akabussi? What sort of tom foolery is this?

My God, so there really IS an Electric Monk!
It's like that plan to build solar panels underground, which never saw the light of day either.
Nice to see Maggie Philbin’s come dressed as Pete Burns. Just missing the eye-patch, sadly.
8:20 Nerds of Paradise
Happy christmas 🎉
Merry Christmas!
Sad to announce that the libs have put me in prison for saying Merry Christmas.
3:13 Michael Parkinson loses a shoe
Thunderbirds actor appeared on motormouths backstage soap opera
One of the most cursed CVs of all time
@@StuartMillard I like yourself thought his accent was fake, but he also appeared in chef talking American
17:17 blimey, it's an Amazon Alexa
I'd still rather accept Rod Hull and Kieth Chegwin into Star Trek cannon than any of the J.J. Abrams movies.
14:50 Haven't laughed like that for a while.👍
9:19 Adolf & Santa?!
RIP Emu
Using that Sons and Daughters music is killing me ....
Is that Nick Griffin on the sofa at 11:01?
Judith Hann was kind of hot back in the day.

Yeah and he somehow found time to get her up the duff, he must have shut up for 30 seconds. Or maybe not...
There was a Thunderbirds stage show?

The relief I felt when I read the show had never been filmed was enormous.
Like the gadget show but not hosted by total cun...
