Great visuals. Some voiceover about what steps are happening and why would be helpful.
While trying to analyze my own laps using RC Pro I am unable to get the plots to overlay like you do. Don't see the Comparison graph options in my version also. What selections in the menu get the option to do the overlay (or comparison) like shown in this video? FYI, I am using an iPhone XS.
Mark Turner Do you have a baseline lap (highlighted blue) and then click on a different lap to analyze against the baseline?
To answer your question, yes I did that and it displays the laps in sequence. But......by mistake I hit make slower run invalid, it was dropped from the screen, I then selected to show invalid lap and the laps were overlaying like I wanted. I’m not exactly sure what I’m doing to make them overlay. Whatever I’m doing it seems it comes and goes.
Mark Turner - By default, the fastest lap will be highlighted blue and will be the baseline lap. You can click the 3-dots next to a different lap to change the baseline/comparison lap.
Once you’re in the graph view comparing two laps, the brighter line is the lap you clicked on, and the dimmed line is the baseline lap.
I think I have figured it out. Select the lap you want to compare to by click on the three dots, then select any lap to compare to, then select a number in that lap row and the comparison will pop up in the next screen. I may not have it exactly right but something like that. Thanks, I also watched some of you runs, nice! I'm still pretty much a beginner but will work on figuring out where I can improve. Another topic, what GPS receiver do you use? I thought I saw something where it is a 20 hz one?
Mark Turner - cool! Well the original VBOX Sport was 20hz, but they changed it like a year ago based on hardware being discontinued. The newer units are 10hz and support GPS and GLONASS. I currently use the latest version.
