Winnipeg Transit Plus Trip-Booking Information Session

On Thursday, June 6, 2024, Winnipeg Transit Plus hosted an online information session to highlight the upcoming launch of a new, improved trip-booking system with self-service options.
Winnipeg Transit Plus customers now, as of Tuesday, June 18, 2024, have access to a variety of exciting new features when using the service, including:
• An automated phone service: Book and check the status of trips 24/7 by calling 204-986-5711
• Expanded trip notifications: Receive updates via text, email, automated phone call, and through the app
• Additional fare payment options: Introducing e-cash payments and the ability to attach a debit or credit card to profiles
Winnipeg Transit Plus is also launching a smartphone and web app. The Winnipeg Transit+ On-Request trip-booking app will be available, initially, to a pre-determined group of early adopters. All customers will have access to the app starting Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
