Japan has its own version of Indiana Jones and the Temple of DOOM, but this is only partly true, because it still has nothing to do with Dr. Jones does not. But at least it's better than the official game by Tengen / Mindscape published on NES
I always remember this game for the stage 1 theme and the interesting grapple mechanic before anything else. That theme really has no right being as cool as it sounds, it's too bad it's so short.
Some of the music feels a bit ill-fitting for some of the stages. Best believe if there was an NES version stateside, they would have added more music cues.
