Thanks. Yes, it’s a Gladiator Rubicon that has a tow rating of 7,000 pounds with the optional tow package. It’s rated for 700 pounds of tongue weight. I use a Husky Centerline TS weight distribution hitch.
I liked it for several reasons but after being in it for five weeks we decided it wasn’t for us. With my mobility disability the bathroom just didn’t work for me. Stepping over the threshold with nothing to grab for balance was tough.
Just running the refrigerator, some lights and occasionally turning on the inverter to make coffee and toast it did a good job. We used the inverter a lot to power my Dish satellite to watch a lot of TV. We enjoy watching TV at night, some people don’t when camping. We ran our generator maybe an hour or two a day.
We went through some changes in a short period. One long trip in the 15TB and figured out it was too small for us. The Gladiator pulled it really good. We swapped the 15TB for a 19FBS which was a lot more roomier. The problem was having comfortable seating in it for us. The couch just wasn't comfortable. I tried some things to make it better, but it didn't really help much. The Gladiator pulled it okay, just high engine revs and about 10 mpg. I traded the Gladiator in on a Ford f150 and the 19FBS in on a No Boundaries 19.1 toy hauler. The toy hauler gives us plenty of room for nice recliners.
I enjoy your informative videos. We have a small travel trailer for the past three years and just took a delivery of the Nova. I am thinking of selling the travel trailer, my wife says we should keep both, you have both class b and the geo. What is your reasoning for keeping both? TIA
We enjoy both of them for different reasons. We really like traveling in our Beyond, we have been on the road this trip 24 days so far. We spent three nights in Middlebury, two nights at a navy campground on Lake Michigan and two nights In Richwood West Virginia. The rest of the nights just boondocking. We love the van for traveling and keeping mobile. The camper is great for setting up at a campground somewhere and staying for several days or longer. For example, staying at the navy campground in Key West we will park the camper and have the Jeep to drive around in. That is going to be a long stay of about five weeks. The van for traveling and the camper for staying somewhere for awhile. And thanks for supporting my channel!
It would be the upper limit if towing. We are pulling it with our Jeep pickup truck. This is going to be used for camping trips where we are going to be setting up a campsite for longer periods. Our Beyond is going to used for our normal trips where we are mostly traveling. Our next trip we be with the camper going to Key West staying at the navy base campground for a month.
It just didn’t work for us. Sitting on the benches wasn’t really comfortable, the bathroom was just too small for me. I loved how it towed behind my Jeep. It was comfortable to sleep in. But it was just basically too small for us.
Congrats on your new travel trailer. I've heard that the sofa shouldn't be sat on when the slide is "in". But there is something you can put underneath to support the front face of the slide so you CAN sit on the sofa, but you must remember to remove it before putting out the slide.
As far as I know, it is okay to just sit on the sofa with the slide in. Just sitting on it, not jumping on it, or plopping down hard on it. I also would not put heavy stuff on it while traveling. We ended up selling that camper and bought a small toy hauler. We needed more room to carry our bike and gear while traveling.
i was wanting to see you in the shower, im a big boy like u, are u able to get the soap if u drop it? Im about to buy me one but that shower has me questioning it..
I will make a shower video for you, but with clothes on. LOL. I like that it has a curtain and not a fixed enclosure. That makes it more forgiving for a big person.
If we were to go back to a travel trailer it would be this model. Brilliant design. Enjoy and safe travels!
Thanks
Congratulations, love your rig! We just got our 2022 Geo Pro 19 FD and we love it❤️
Thanks. The 19 FD is an awesome camper, we almost it but the 19 FBS was available without waiting.
@@gardsnyder5657 I understand, we ordered ours in September and got it in January.
Nice rig and nice tour. Thanks for taking us along. And congrats!
Thanks
Awesome!
I just got mine today ! I’ll be keeping up with your channel for tips and tricks !
Congratulations!
congrats on the new rig - very nice
Thanks
Nice size, appealing neutral decor colors on the sofa and walls. Looking forward to more videos.
It is very neutral, Deb will have fun decorating it.
Thanks for sharing. Love seeing a real owners perspective.
Thanks!
@@CampingCoastie Have you seen the 'Power package' available now on select Geo Pro floor plans? Wow. Looking hard at the 20FBS with it.
@@zonacrs Not in person, but it sounds really nice. It’s an expensive option, but the components are expensive.
Hey Gard, Congratulations! Love your New Rig, I hope you will to.
Hello Mark, good to hear from you. So far really liking the new camper, spending time getting it setup for our first trip.
Great package you guys. Sweet.
Thanks
Roomy!!! Enjoy, guys...
Thanks
Great tour. What are you towing this with? Would love to see a video related to towing.
I have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon
Great review. Is that a Jeep Gladiator? What are it’s towing specs? Which weight distribution hitch are you using?
Thanks. Yes, it’s a Gladiator Rubicon that has a tow rating of 7,000 pounds with the optional tow package. It’s rated for 700 pounds of tongue weight.
I use a Husky Centerline TS weight distribution hitch.
Geez, I've been waiting for my 15TB for 7 months. Longer than you had yours!
I liked it for several reasons but after being in it for five weeks we decided it wasn’t for us. With my mobility disability the bathroom just didn’t work for me. Stepping over the threshold with nothing to grab for balance was tough.
Nice. Can the solar keep the lithium battery charged for off grid camping? Keep up pretty well with normal usage.
Just running the refrigerator, some lights and occasionally turning on the inverter to make coffee and toast it did a good job.

wait a tic, didn't you just get the 15 a few months ago? Interested to see info on why you switched beside the 15 being small.
Yes, we spent five weeks in it and decided it wasn’t for us. I hope to make a video about the two campers and what made us buy this one.
Didn't you guys have the 15' one before? Was it too small? And, how does you Jeep do towing this 19' one. Thanks!
We went through some changes in a short period. One long trip in the 15TB and figured out it was too small for us. The Gladiator pulled it really good. @@CampingCoastie Thank you, makes sense, that is my wife’s reasoning. Looking forward to more videos
Wow, you’ve already traded up. On the move.
The small one just didn’t work for us.
Best be careful with loading cargo, water etc with slightly less than 900 pounds of carrying capacity.
Very true!
Are you able to pull this with the Beyond?
It would be the upper limit if towing. We are pulling it with our Jeep pickup truck. This is going to be used for camping trips where we are going to be setting up a campsite for longer periods. Our Beyond is going to used for our normal trips where we are mostly traveling.

Why did you get rid of the 15tb?
It just didn’t work for us. Sitting on the benches wasn’t really comfortable, the bathroom was just too small for me.
I loved how it towed behind my Jeep. It was comfortable to sleep in. But it was just basically too small for us.
@@CampingCoastie thanks
So, did I miss a tic? Did you get rid of the van?
No, still have the van! Love the Beyond, just something else to use to just camp in and explore the area in our Jeep.
Congrats on your new travel trailer. I've heard that the sofa shouldn't be sat on when the slide is "in". But there is something you can put underneath to support the front face of the slide so you CAN sit on the sofa, but you must remember to remove it before putting out the slide.

Stay off that ladder!
Don't worry, I won't climb it!
@@CampingCoastie I am 1/2 your size and would not climb most flimsy RV ladders. Hate broken bones. Thx for the tour.
Can I pull that with a half ton v6 truck
I pulled it with my Jeep Gladiator with a V6. It was okay.
