Why this wasn't marketed better here is the states is beyond me. Hardy was really really good. Emily though... She just has so much presence on screen. She did a great job. I'm really happy she did America Gods. Loved thst series and I'm not a TV watching series kinda guy. GoT was the only other one I really got into. Oh and...Letterkenny is amazing and Wayne on UA-cam was great. Should have continued! But Emily playing the bad ass in America Gods..showed she's not just an amazing classic beauty. She has range as well. Laure Moon doesn't take shit from anyone.... Even in death. Very well done character! She seems like a smart kid. Doesn't want to be an east end of Hollywood starlet and I respect that. Brains and beauty... Dangerous 😉
The film sets you up for harsh reality...first they have you loving the kind of relationship Reggie and Francis have...and all the comedy incorporated in this film...then they slowly pull it out from under you little by little, leaving you speechless. I loved this first half of the film so much but hated the second half. But hey, there's a price for choosing that life, I guess.
