Wonderful thrifty ideas. Thinking outside the box and using what you have can lead to some great creations. I was reminded of my first married Christmas back in 1984. We had so little money. I did have tree ornaments as my mother had started a collection for me when I was young. I was trying to figure out a decorative garland idea for no money. I took some Styrofoam and cut into various sized small box shapes, wrapped them in small print and solid Christmas wrap and tied on bows making them into wrapped gifts. I then threaded them with an embroidery needle and thread to create a free garland. It only took a little time, but I still remember it 40 years later.
You thought we would love these 7 DIYs, and I certainly do … so creative, but simple to do, because of your step-by-step instructions, of course!!! Thank you … can’t wait for next week’s video!

Hi our beautiful Tasha What creative great ideas you have and things I habe not seen. I am so mad at myself. There was burgundy fabric at an estate sale and I forgot to pick it up to make ribbon. I love the bows especially. The candles are magic . I love the place cards . The paper bells are my favorite. Your house will be the best . ❤❤❤❤
Great video. Tons of inspiration, my favorite were the cone-shaped paper bells and the beautiful mini bell napkin rings. I'm looking forward to your next Christmas DIY video.
My mother taught me about looking in thrift stores first lacey or elegant dresses to reuse the fabric…you can also use men’s shirts XLarge…but clothing has become very pricey these days and really need to consider value and use before purchasing.
the Christmas tree project is a tutorial I can use The basket flip to make a bell is a fantastic idea. The scalloped cardstock ornaments were adorable. I so loved the jingle bell napkin holders it does give it that elegant flare. Cloth ribbons for packages are something I have not thought of for years.
Great ideas. Tasha! I use thrifted silk fabric torn in strips for ribbon. The tearing of it makes it fray and gives it a high end look without the high price.
Good morning Tasha, As always, great video! You’re so talented and I really enjoyed watching your very inspiring DIY’s. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Hope you have a great day, and thank you for sharing. 💕Dee
Tasha, I’m so happy to have found you a few months ago. You combine ALL of my passions (diy, thrift and decor) into one beautiful, educational place. Loving those candles you made!!
The Christmas tree candles look more realistic, high end, and modern, the DIY VERSION way! You’re so creative! Love that idea and def trying! Hope they have that evergreen color at dollar tree 🩵
I was ready to go buy the tree candles and saw your DIY video. Made my own tree candles... so excited. Next I will be making the place card holders. Love those too! You are so creative Tasha and Thank you!!!💚❤
Hi, Tasha I found your channel just a few days ago and am thoroughly impressed with your ideas and crafting projects. I was at a thrift store yesterday and saw those handled baskets and thought to myself, gosh nobody wants those anymore. I'm headed back today to make my own bells out of them. Thank you for all the fantastic ideas. Subscribed with all notifications going here and enjoying every one. Thank you again. David
I am sooo loving these DIYs!! I really like the rustic place card holders & the bells you made out of the black card stock!! I am already looking forward to the 7 more holiday DIYs next week!! Thank you for sharing ... until next week!!
On your scalloped ornament, if someone like me is OCD you could use a quarter, nickles, dime, or pennies to make the exact same shape. I'm going to try this with a soda can cut and turned inside out and either spray paint or use Rub and Buff, with a black or navy under coat. I really like this idea.
@TashaatHome I've seen videos on where they made the bells that are straight with no curve to it, and all sides of the can are folded over and over one more time.
Love the candle hack!!! I actually like them better than the manufactured version that look so stayed compared to the free form of yours. I will definitely be doing this-- and I already have some of the manufactured ones.
I was truly impressed with the card stock bells . I think I might go to the hardware store to see if there is thin metal that I could buy and try the same project. In Any case. I was impressed with all your diys.😍
Great ideas!! I’m on the thrift hunt for satin or velvet clothing items for ribbon❤️ My daughter is getting married next fall….love the placecard holders!!…gonna add the idea into our planning notebook❤👍

That's true I couldn't bring myself to cut up an expensive dress even if I loved the fabric and even if it was cheap!

Oh yes great idea to use coins and also to use a soda can! It could be kind of sharp but I think it could work ☺️
