I’m glad everyone is getting to experience the greatness of Choso. He’s got a really cool design, fighting style, and his relationship and care for his brothers is nice to see in an antagonist.
31:24 Eso actually gave Nobara and Yuji the chance to leave, he said his job wasn't to fight sorcerers just to retrieve a finger. He got aggressive when they saw his back, but that came as a result of Yuji and Nobara continuing to attack him. The cursed womb: death paintings exist between human and curse, they are material and can be seen by anyone. And they have blood that is poisonous to humans, which was a big threat to Nobara in the finale. Inumaki can target them, it was a skill Yuta praised in the movie because he couldn't use the copied technique to that effect yet.
An interesting moment that doesn't really come up for a bit - Choso's blood is also poisonous to other people and cursed spirits, same as his brothers'. It's just that Yuji has immunity to poison, as previously established. And Choso's first on-screen fight is with Yuji, so it's not immediately noticeable.
@@lincolnphuong8624*SPOILERS**** It'll get mentioned later in this szn when he faces off against uraume, bc they get affected by it, which is pretty insane that even (most likely) special grade level sorcerers like them get affected by his poison blood so much
This. Strictly speaking, it was our protagonists who picked the fight. Granted they couldn't just let them have the finger, but it shows that the brothers weren't just pure evil.
Choso doesn't know much because he's half curse half human. He was a fetus before Mahito stole him at the Goodwill event. He was incarnated using someone's body and gained basic understanding of the world but has very little experience especially jujutsu related.
@@Ksodn What isn't true about it? I'm a manga reader. We're shown him right after he was incarnated after being taken from Jujutsu High. Unsure if I missed something but don't think I did.

@@Daesma999yeah people keep taking that comment by the narrator the wrong way. lack of combat experience doesn’t mean choso wouldn’t know how to fight, it means he’s never been in a position where he couldn’t rely on his blood manipulation. he had to adapt fast and did!

this is the thing that I do not get about all these reactors. somehow they think that the most legendary evil spirit/curse whatever in the series cares about some guy like yuji. he already said before he only cared about megumi
It's not about caring with Yuji, is just that Yuji already eat some fingers and him dying means some fingers go to waste. I don't think that Sukuna wants to lose some power
please keep your manga insides to yourself man, let us anime watchers assume some things. it's fun to be wrong and surprised but you manga readers spoil this fun so often. (the manga representation of sukuna being confused in that scene is very clear as compared to the anime adaptation of the same scene) No one is saying that sukuna will willing save yuji cuz he cares or anything but there are other motives too for sukuna to save yuji for his own good. for example, yuji has already consumed 4-5 fingers which is about a quarter of 20, so if he dies then sukuna won't be able to regain all of his power. also, didn't sukuna revive yuji eventually after taking his heart out in season 1 once they made a pact after sukuna gained interest in megumi🤔!? and he did inadvertly save yuji from mahito's domain expansion too remember. ofc these 3 were all different circumstances but sukuna saving yuji one way or the other has happened before so imo, to say that it's clear as day that sukuna would never save yuji's live no matter what is incorrect. now obviously as everyone has indicated that this particular time it had nothing to do with sukuna but it was not out of question from the outset is what I'm saying💁🏻♂️ Edit 1- also sukuna's eyes(or whatever) were shown in the blood so it's obvious that people would assume that choso not killing yuji has something to do with sukuna even if it's not the case Edit 2- I'm also speaking somewhat in general as to what some manga readers do so often across various animes
Ya I totally forgot about this which made me really confused when I watched that scene. After being reinformed about that the theories began to flood my brain
Small but relevant comment. The bothers didnt pick a fight. They actually both attempted to flee and Eso told Nobara she could leave. He just needed the finger. So...technically they didnt pick the fight. Kechizu also was running from Yuji.
In the first moment yes, but after that they chose the fight over the mission, chased Nobara and Yuji and didn't hesitate in using Decay on them. If Eso and Kechizu went back to the special grade curse they would find a tired Megumi and could just take the finger and leave.
@@MyCarnageExtreme They couldn't have known that it was up for grabs though. For all they know it bodied the random other kid they left in there. If they head back now they're fighting a special grade curse with two psycho kids trying to kill you potentially coming in from behind. They can't really be blamed that much for deciding to finish the fight once it had been picked.
@@MyCarnageExtreme Yes, they chose to defend themselves. I mean youre esentially saying that they should have just ran away while being attacked. Like "hey i know were being attacked right now and this guy is super fast too, but wanna just go get the finger? They definitely wont keep attacking as we do that....right? Its definitely a great idea." Come on lol. How do you propose they go back to the curse while being attacked in a fight that they didnt instigate lmfao. Please tell me. Im genuinely curious. "Hey stranger dude with pink hair, I know youre kicking our ass but can we go get this finger over by your friend now? Youre cool with that, right? Oh you need it too? Can we just have it?" Lmfao
Mappa definitely adapted the fight between Yuuji and Choso awesomely, they enhanced from the source material greatly. The fight choreography reminded me of old school martial artts films, they even made it a little more hardcore than it was a in manga. One of the best battles in the series as a whole.

yes, Sam, it was explained in the first season that Choso and his brothers are kamo noritoshi experiments, so it makes sense for Choso to have the same hereditary technique
@@jonasan287 Sorcerer, not curse. The death paintings conception was a three-party thing (curse, sorcerer and woman who could have babies with cursed spirits.)
At 12:46, we can see Sam resonating with Big bro Choso's big bro-ness, and even instinctively shows concern for his health at 13:31..with that she's welcomed to Yuji & Choso's sibling cookout as the 11th one and only sister
Actually, Choso's brothers gave up the fight and were trying to leave as soon as they learned that Yuji and Nobara aren't there for the same objective as they are, which was to retrieve Sukuna's finger. Encounter was basically purely coincidental, and if either party arrived a bit later, they wouldn't have fought at all
Choso’s Blood Manipulation and the way he uses it, made not only have new respect and appreciation for him. But blood manipulators in general. Dude is sick with it.
Choso is was only born a few months which means he didn't really mastered the technique yet. He would be op af if he mastered it and combat skills aswell. Choso wouldve one shot yuji if that happened.
Honestly same. I love Power from Chainsaw Man, but this is the first time I thought blood manipulation was cool as fuck. Even last season I was wondering what was so special about the Kamo family because that third year from Kyoto didn’t really show off much in the exchange event. This was dope
@@fdfsdghsfh-ov5hv to be fair, Noritoshi didn't really have the chance to go all-out vs Megumi. But his Piercing Blood was in fact strong enough to deal visible damage to Hanami, which was impressive all on its own.

Idk Danni has been on point so far. She was one of the few ppl who last ep noticed the marking on his face disappearing and this ep she mentioned the blood mixing leading to the memories. I can’t wait for the next few episodes.
@@ajclannachan was it the blood mixing that caused the memories? I have a theory. Since Choso can sense when his brothers are dying maybe he recognized yuji as that when he himself was near death.
I love the through-line before the title of “don’t move” between the signage and Inumaki’s command. It really gives the sense that everything and everyone is screaming at Yuji not to go down there. And then all the signage that tells Choso to move forward, almost like he’s the protagonist of the episode. MAPPA cooked with this episode
>tells Choso to move forward, almost like he’s the protagonist of the episode That's because he actually is. He's the one going into the fight with a righteous desire for vengeance, gets tricked and has to fight against the odds. And then gets hit by the mysterious lore exposure™ that will be explained later.
Here’s a bit of a reminder for anyone confused as to why the cursed wombs can use blood manipulation (no spoilers), an ancestor of modern Noritoshi Kamo, also named Noritoshi Kamo, was the one who “created” the cursed wombs, which in turn gave them the famed Kamo Clan Blood manipulation technique.
Not only does it cut back ang forth as the last season but they also use a piece of last season's ost "Remember" (in the fight against the Choso's Brothers) as you can hear when Choso was going to slash Yuji with blood claws.
I swear people think sukuna’s gonna save yuji’s life. This isn’t like Naruto and kurama 😂. Sukuna couldn’t care less if yuji dies or not, in season 1 he ripped his own heart out as yuji.
I agree that it's annoying, but you have to keep in mind that season 1 happened about 2 years ago. Add in the fact that reactors watch 5 to 10 different shows at once people are going to forget important details. But I'm sure jjk is going to remind everyone about how evil Sukana is/how much Sukana does not care.
WOW! This episode was so crazy! This might be my favorite one of this arc so far. The animation was so damn crispy and fluid, even the 3D aspects were smooth and seamless. The fight was incredible, from the Blood Manipulation slicing everything to the straight up hand to hand combat. Itadori has such high IQ for battle and is so good at improvising things on the spot. Shoutout to Mechamaru for his great idea and goading Choso into the bathroom. I hope it’s not the last we’ve heard from him. Choso ain’t no slouch either he was getting worked, but also got some crazy hits in and was able to counter Yuji in the end. I knew we would get a look at Sukuna at some point so I’m glad we did, even though it was brief. Not sure what’s exactly going on at the end, but that’s the fun part. And though it was a short one, we finally we got a post credit scene. I’m so excited to see what’s next! 🤘🏽
The scary part about this fight is that it was only thanks to Mechamaru's quick thinking and Choso's inexperience that Yuji didn't get absolutely demolished way quicker. I was so moved with how well they adapted Yuji Vs Choso. I saw some people in the anime community thinking this fight would be an absolute wash and that Choso wasn't anything special. Glad they got to see my boy in action this week. He put in that work. Had it not been for Mechamaru's quick thinking, Yuji would've been in trouble. In fact, even with some of his bigger moves unusable thanks to the water, Choso STILL managed to achieve the W. Not just that, people seem to think Sukuna is ready to defend Yuji at all times. But we see in this episode, he was just disappointed in how Yuji lost to an opponent Sukuna personally deemed weak. And was prepared to go back to vibing until he saw Choso freak out. Sukuna is not Yuji's ally. He is not his friend. And he is not some trump card to save the day either. After all, even if he loses Yuji, he still has several fingers that exist in the world. The two girls Geto saved have approached the unconscious Yuji. And Choso has been greeted with a memory of something that never happened. Yuji, sitting at a table and feeding him while calling him brother. How bizarre.
Sukuna is a brilliant subversion of hero-possessing-demon trope that we see in Naruto and Black Clover. He's an *actual* antagonist and a threat to everything, and there is no power of friendship to pull out with him.
I love your comments mate, but I keep getting that sense of déjà vu when I read them. And then I realise it's because they've been copy/pasted a bunch, lol Not really hating much if anything, great insight, but yeah
They’re the first reactors I’ve seen notice chosos blood mixing with Yujis, but for some reason no one seems to notice or find suspicious what yuji says in the memories, and when u put in context with the blood mixing and the other brothers there, I feel like the answer is so obvious. Also it’s important to note Sukuna doesn’t care about yuji and was willing to die and he was just as shocked as the viewers when choso didn’t kill yuji
also i find it funny from all the reactors is that none of them thought "wait, who are itadori's parents btw?" since in episode 1, he was only with his grandfather.
Hey girls, as always very nice reaction. The last scene (Choso's "memories") will make sense in the end of the Shibuya Arc and the beginning of the next Arc. Everybody is losing their minds with it, but i can assure you that is not some random scene (actually, is very important for the plot).
The fact that some people don't know, Choso is basically a fetus and was born only a few months ths ago. Which means that this is his first ever combat which he never trained for. Choso wouldve probably beaten yuji easily if he mastered his curse technique and combat skills.
Why do people think nanami could do something? Yuji is really strong himself. Hopefully everyone realise later how much Choso was handicapped against Yuji and that he would absolutely destroy Nanami
It does happen with reactors often, I notice. Just like Nanami's strength was underappreciated until Shibuya because his only real on-screen fights were against Mahito, who is one of the worst matchups for his technique. Similarly, Yuji is a pretty bad matchup for Choso (normally, his poisoned blood alone would have half incapacitated his opponent after the first landed hit), plus the inability to use ranged attacks in the second half of the fight handicapped him further. Choso's yet to actually go all out and use all that he's capable of, without restrictions.
if you exclude special grade sorcerers and especially gojo and sukuna... i think everyone else can have problems against bad matchups. Even if its special grade vs grade 1, if the special grade doesn't have counter to grade 1's ability then its going to be hard for him to win. Also, battle iq and tactics are really important in jjk and that's why i love the fights. The example is Kashimo vs Hakari fight... With this in mind, mahito is a great matchup for yuji but choso and long ranged fighters are really his weakness...
Yuji at this point is probably stronger than Nanami which is the funny thing. They’re at least on equal footing. And Yuji had the advantage of being immune to Choso’s poisonous blood. Nanami would’ve been killed if Choso landed any type of blood attack on him which he likely would’ve since he’s a special grade
I appreciate that you guys take notes and seem to notice the minute details a lot of other channels might miss, makes the reactions that much more enjoyable!
If you want a better understanding of Cursed Womb: Death Paintings, I would recommend rewatching episode 21, but Cursed Wombs are basically special grade objects created by Norotoshi Kamo, the most vile sorcerer in history, by combining the blood of a cursed spirit and human, which is why Choso has the hereditary technique of the Kamo clan
Explaining the Buddhist concept behind the nine fetuses of the death painting (Kusozu) in Jujutsu Kaisen, The paintings originate from a Buddhist meditation practice, in which the gradual decomposition of a female corpse is observed as it passes through the nine stages of decomposition. The purpose behind contemplating the corpse is to reduce attachment to one's body, to remember true human nature: “We are part of nature and always will be.” and in some cases reduce sexual desire. In Japan the nine paintings are called "Kusozu". Gege may have used this misogynistic view to create the story of the Kosozu in Jujutsu Kaisen Where a woman was used as mere study material for the most evil sorcerer in the Jujutsu world. Making her get pregnant and miscarry nine times. Each of the nine cursed fetuses represents one of the paintings, and their names, appearances and abilities reflect the body's stage of decomposition. First stage: Cho-so "Distension" The body is still on the verge of death. The appearance remains the same as a human, but the tired eyes already show tiredness prior to death. Second Stage: E-so "Rupture" The body is relatively intact, but without blood circulation, cold and with torn skin, thus beginning decomposition. The face on Eso's back represents the face beginning to decompose, hence the insecurity. Third stage: Kechizu-so "Liquefaction" Days after death, gases fill the abdomen. The skin and flesh already damaged by decomposition begins to release body fluids, thus entering into liquefaction. Kechizu and Eso share the same ultimate technique, making the opponent go through all stages of decomposition quickly. But the efficiency of the spell coming from Eso's blood is better, probably because he is the oldest. Fourth stage: Noran-so "Putrefaction" A lengthy period that can take up to 6 weeks to occur. The body has already entered the decomposition process, which is caused by worms and insects that appear inside the meat. Fifth stage: Shouo-so "desiccation" and "discoloration" The body begins to dry out and its appearance becomes much paler, becoming bluer. Sixth stage: Tan-so "Consummation" Animals such as rodents and birds begin to consume the body. Seventh stage: San-so "Dissimilation" The flesh begins to disappear, so the body divides into several different parts. When Choso begins to be inspired by his brothers' techniques in the fight against Kenjaku, he uses what could possibly be Sanso's dissimilation technique. Eighth stage: Kotsu-so "Bones" Only the bones remain. Ninth stage: Sho-so "Cremation" After all stages, the bones are collected, they are cremated, leaving only the dust. Thus being placed in a container for the person to be remembered. And cremation in Buddhism means an act of liberation, completely detaching oneself from the material world and freeing oneself from the suffering of life on that plane. The techniques are apparently related to the painting of death represented, in addition to the blood manipulation inherited by Noritoshi Kamo/Kenjaku. But we are not sure if this would apply to death paintings 8 and 9 as they are just bones and dust. A curiosity: In a meditation related to Kusozu, the "Paṭikkūla-manasikāra", dating from early Buddhism involves 10 stages of decay. And Kenjaku (as far as we know) has 10 children. This is just one of the several concepts that Gege addresses in an incredible way within the work, which only makes the characters more and more interesting.
Can't he counter convergence piercing blood with his cursed tool,he is grade 1,plus he can find weakness in Choso with his technique, you can't say for sure who would win.
@@confidential9692 Well, Choso's blood is poisonous, we just didn't see it in this fight since Yuji has an immunity to poison, that was established in the last season. So if Nanami got hit even once with a blood attack, he is screwed. Especially with the speed that Piercing Blood has.
@@confidential9692a single wound from choso's blood is a game over for nanami and any other sorcerer that cant use RCT, shibuya yuji is relative to nanami in strength and speed. you think nanami can even get close to choso without being hit? the ONLY chance nanami has is point blank black flash and that is IF he somehow able to get close and doesnt get hit.
I interrupted that end scene with Choso as him realizing (probably through mixing with itadori's blood) that itadori and him are related somehow. Im guessing itadori might be a cursed womb himself which would explain why his bodies able to handle a curse like sukuna. I dont know if thats right but im looking forward to seeing what Choso and Itadori's connection is.

26:17 when explaining last season how the cursed womb death paintings were created by Noritoshi Kamo (present day Kamo’s really evil ancestor) they mentioned he made NINE of them. So yeah. Besides the 3 we’ve seen, there are 6 more. Mahito “only” manage to steal 3 of them.
This was, without a doubt, the best episode of the entire season, as well as the best one of the whole anime, and I really enjoyed watching you guys react to it. The fight sequences were the best part of the entire episode.
Should be noted the reason choso is so good is because its stated ij the manga chosos been honing his skills as a cursed womb fetus alongside his brothers for 150 years. Hes inexperienced in terms of never actually putting them to the test
yep, the result is sort of like he had a lot of time to practice in general but never actually fought another person or had the chance to experiment with his technique in different environments/weather conditions/etc
Keep in mind that chooso is just a few months old, he came to be after the exchange event, he was a fetus until then, and this was his first time in combat, so he really lacked experience, but still He is a Special Grade, even tho Chooso is nowhere near his full potential as well
One of the best fights in anime in recent years. And remember, Choso was still inexperienced so if he had full combat knowledge, he wouldn't annihilated Yuuji.
We actually know why Choso and his brothers possesses Blood Manipulation technique and it was briefly mentioned during Yuji + Nobara vs Eso + Kechizu last season. It had something to do with a sorcerer from the Kamo clan a hundred plus years ago. They also mentioned the name of the sorcerer that basically "created" them.
Yeah, the sorcerer who abducted the girl who could get impregnated by curses (and who became the mother of the Death Paintings) was of the Kamo clan. He was said to be one of the worst (in the sense that he was evil) sorcerers to exist. It was mentioned that he impregnated and aborted her several times, and it looks like he might have done some of those impregnations personally.
Just for clarification, when they say Choso "doesnt have combat experience" they dont mean hes bad at close combat (clearly hes good at it). What they mean is he isnt experienced enough to understand why the water was destroying his convergence.
Death paintings like Choso are half humans half cursed spirits, theh have stronger cursed techniques but they still have physical bodies and non-sorceres can see them
So to jog your memory about the very disturbing story about the Curse Womb: Death Painting. They are half curse and half human hybrids. Noritoshi Kamo created them in Meiji era of Japan. The specifics of how they were created aren't clearly but a woman capable of birthing half curse and half human hybrids was taken under his care and then experimented on due to his curiosity. I'll let your mind fill in the disturbing blanks. Anyways she had 9 pregnancies and absorptions, also Noritoshi mixed in some of his blood too. Which why Choso, Eso, and Kechizu have the Kamo blood manipulation.
Sam in all purple is her "thank you" to JJK fanservice. Dani, Ms Sherlock herself, is right about Inumaki. Unlike with Yuta, it's easier to avoid 1 person than multiple people. In that scene, he also told Yuta to wait and directed his speech away from Yuta. Yuta later shows that saying something like "Die" worked only on the curses not Geto since he's stronger and said "It's nearly impossible to aim, Inumaki must be incredible. I agree with Dani, he said "don't move" like when Todo was fighting Megumi which nearly destroyed his throat and it was just Todo he directed allowing panda to strike. So you're both a bit right, He can target but it's selective and subject to the strength of the target. Like Gojo's domain, he affected everyone with a strong enough move to not accidentally kill people or recoil in the way that it destroys his throat.
It wasn't until this episode I realized they were going somewhere with the cursed womb and the brothers. I thought they were just muscle for the "real" villains. But they are setting up Choso with both story and power level. This also reminded us there are more cursed wombs that don't have host bodies yet.
Hi just to clarify, Sukuna didn't do anything. He's not someone like as Kurama is to Naruto. Nobody did that. Choso has a natural body mechanism that makes him sense if his _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ are in danger or more specifically if on the brink of death. Much like how he instantly learned about Kechizu And Ezo's death in s1. Also nice catch on how you noticed Choso's blood mixing with Yuji's. That's a big clue itself.
Finally! Reactors who realize that Sukuna coming out isn't a good thing. They're also the only ones I've seen who noticed the marks on the blond guy's face disappear every time Nanami punched him. (Fun fact: If you look back, you'll notice that the first mark disappeared after Nobara dropped the ceiling on him. So Nobara managed to "kill" him once.)
To address ur concern about why no one's double checking their opponents, first about gojo and geto. When gojo ended geto in jjk0, gojo isn't aware of something about a "plan" that a certain someone has been cultivating in the shadows for a long time. That certain someone took the perfect opportunity to take over geto's body when he died. Gojo didn't let shoko handle his corpse and probably handled it by himself. That is why... that certain "someone" got a hold of geto's body. Moving on to nanami, his opponent haruta has a technique that gives him 6 rounds of luck, it shows on his face.. if u noticed, there are 6 tattoo-like lines under his eyes. Whenever he's about to get hurt and / or die, his technique saves him. Before nanami punched him the first time, he only had 5 rounds left shown under his eye. It got decreased until it was only one left before nanami struck him on the face for the last time. There's a reason why some characters aren't offed on screen. It's a common anime/manga move, but sometimes, for characters like haruta, it just means he's not that relevant to the story.
16:28 that's right Choso is a half curse half human like his brothers which is why he won't ever bleed out, unlocking the full potential of this technique. his blood is also supposed to be poisonous because all of the curse wombs have poisonous blood. But that doesn't affect Yuji at all because Yuji can't be poisoned.
Maybe choso brothers cried when yuji killed them because they seen a memory of yuji being their brother as well also choso knew his brothers died because his blood manipulation let him know and when he was about to kill yuji it gave him the same feelings as when his other brothers died
So close, but not a single reacter ive seen has thought "wait, we know nothing about yujis parents" and i feel like its pretty simple to understand whats going on as soon as you remember that
Man they really didn't do supernova justice in the anime. They censored it up a decent bit, in the manga supernova is like blasts of buckshot and rips up Yuji's back. All it did in the anime was slightly burn Yuji's back and make a small hole in his jacket.
Even if Nanami had fought Choso, she would have lost just like Itadori. Remember that Japanese knotweed, the vessel of Sukuna, has a strong resistance to deadly poisons. Choso's blood contains deadly poison. It was okay because Choso's opponent was Itadori, but if Nanami had been there, Nanami would have died from Choso's highly poisonous blood.
27:06 Sukuna was surprised as well as we can see. It was easier to get it in manga becaude of big ? mark in speech bubble of Sukuna at this moment. But he made sound that surprised people make
You guys have to remember Sukuna can't come out unless he says "Enchain", and even in this moment he won't, because he truly doesn't care about yuji to the point where he'd sacrifice 4 fingers aslong as the majority of his soul lives on. Sukuna is petty af when it comes to yuji.
The truth about the memories is actually shown in the reel as long as you dont think of anything beyond the memory reel😅 It's amusing how simple and blunt they made it yet it looked completely vague if you factor in Sukuna 😂
This whole fight was epic, the build up and everything. Piercing Blood is the coolest ability for me right now, the way they animated was too good. Morgan was right it felt to me as well that at any moment one of them would get killed in the restroom fight cuz of course they were trying hard to off each other, that shit was intense! We could say Yuji lost this fight and could've died if it wasnt for those fake memories in choso. 32:26 Last ep of season 1 they talked about an evil sorcerer who created all of the cursed wombs: death painting and his name pretty much explains how all the three brothers use blood I guess?
Didn’t think you guys will upload early! Haha. Everyone in the comments already said what i wanna say. Just gonna put out there that Sukuna is not THAT kind of character if you look back in S1 :) well, we’ll be reminded later on 🫠 And Chosoooooo! 😭💕 Kudos to the animators who did this amazing fight despite the tight schedule. Jeez the fluidity and camera work paired with the music and voice acting 👌🏼 ✨
This last moment when Sukuna didn't give a f*ck of what will happen to Yuji then he was surprised that Choso didn't kill Yuji. Then Choso have some "fake" memories of a life where he is with all his brothers including Ittadori Yuji. Even now (in the Manga) we don't know who or what give these memories to Choso. But my hypothesis is connected to what we just learn about the body and the soul. The body can have a piece of the soul in. That's why Fake Geto get attacked by his own body and that's why Toji could take control of the body because a part of the soul is in the body too. So here, who's soul is in the body of Choso (Based on his story with his brothers when they were created) that send him these "fake" memories. 32:00 : if i remember, it's in the episode 21 of S1 that they introduced and explain who are this 9 fetus and It's really important story because they showed a part of the picture of the man who created with this poor woman this 9 fetus. At the end of this arc, i think we gonna have a small surpris that will connected some thing that coming from the last part of this episode 13. Can't wait to see the reaction.
Every reaction channel says the same thing about choso "...for someone that doesnt have combat experience he is pretty good" knowing how to fight and combat experience is two different things. You could train a martial art for your whole life but never use it in a real fight. So you have the skills but dont know how to apply them when things get out of your control. And also sukuna did nothing, he doesnt care about Yuji, its better for him if he dies because then sukuna can make another pact asking for more things just to bring him back to life
The narrator literally said because of his lack of combat experience he didn’t understand what was happening to him referring to his CT not working. Never once did it imply he didn’t know how to fight and people don’t realize that 😪
To clarify the ending without any spoilers; Sukuna had nothing to do with what happened to Choso. He literally only showed up this episode to tell Yuji he is trash for losing, and was willing to let him and Yuji die in that moment because hes very petty and dont want to help Choso. Even Sukuna was surprised (Why his eyes widened) that Choso didnt kill them there. What happened to Choso at the end there has nothing to do with Sukuna, and will be explained later on in the season
remember it hpnd with todo too in season 1 when he beat yuji and was about to finish him just before he calls him brother and the fake memories of them together at school lol
I feel like no one can be mad at choso because yk yuji murdered his brothers so he wants revenge. But then again yuji is a great person so you don’t want him to lose.
I’m glad everyone is getting to experience the greatness of Choso. He’s got a really cool design, fighting style, and his relationship and care for his brothers is nice to see in an antagonist.
Best boy
This episode actually made me read the manga ahead and boi do I simp for Choso now
"His design"... yes, those abs for Mappa to show off. lol
But he killed a lot of people =/ ... btw I agree with you, Choso fighting style is awesome!!
❤
@@bohdanpyzh2712yeah I think it only gets mentioned later on when he goes against noaya, could be wrong tho
@@lincolnphuong8624*SPOILERS****
It'll get mentioned later in this szn when he faces off against uraume, bc they get affected by it, which is pretty insane that even (most likely) special grade level sorcerers like them get affected by his poison blood so much
This. Strictly speaking, it was our protagonists who picked the fight. Granted they couldn't just let them have the finger, but it shows that the brothers weren't just pure evil.
@@bohdanpyzh2712 his blood is poisonous to cursed spirits too?? has this been confirmed in the manga?
Choso doesn't know much because he's half curse half human. He was a fetus before Mahito stole him at the Goodwill event. He was incarnated using someone's body and gained basic understanding of the world but has very little experience especially jujutsu related.
I read this as 'When Mahito stole Choso from the Goodwill'.
This isn’t true, but I don’t blame you, you’ll learn later in the season his true age. He’s much older than you think.
@@Ksodn What isn't true about it? I'm a manga reader. We're shown him right after he was incarnated after being taken from Jujutsu High. Unsure if I missed something but don't think I did.

@@blinkasto182 Flowing red scale only reproduces the effects of blood doping, even Noritoshi Kamo uses it against Megumi in season 1, which is supposed to be just a casual fight.

They said choso had no combat experience and he was still fucking yuji up goddamn 😭
lack of experience doesn't mean he lacks skill as well. You can have one without the other
Which must mean Choso's natural IQ and quick thinking is vastly higher than Yuji's lmao.
@@Daesma999yeah people keep taking that comment by the narrator the wrong way. lack of combat experience doesn’t mean choso wouldn’t know how to fight, it means he’s never been in a position where he couldn’t rely on his blood manipulation. he had to adapt fast and did!

please keep your manga insides to yourself man, let us anime watchers assume some things. it's fun to be wrong and surprised but you manga readers spoil this fun so often. (the manga representation of sukuna being confused in that scene is very clear as compared to the anime adaptation of the same scene)
No one is saying that sukuna will willing save yuji cuz he cares or anything but there are other motives too for sukuna to save yuji for his own good.
for example, yuji has already consumed 4-5 fingers which is about a quarter of 20, so if he dies then sukuna won't be able to regain all of his power.
also, didn't sukuna revive yuji eventually after taking his heart out in season 1 once they made a pact after sukuna gained interest in megumi🤔!?
and he did inadvertly save yuji from mahito's domain expansion too remember.
ofc these 3 were all different circumstances but sukuna saving yuji one way or the other has happened before so imo, to say that it's clear as day that sukuna would never save yuji's live no matter what is incorrect. now obviously as everyone has indicated that this particular time it had nothing to do with sukuna but it was not out of question from the outset is what I'm saying💁🏻♂️
Edit 1- also sukuna's eyes(or whatever) were shown in the blood so it's obvious that people would assume that choso not killing yuji has something to do with sukuna even if it's not the case
Edit 2- I'm also speaking somewhat in general as to what some manga readers do so often across various animes
Choso and his brothers are half curse half human. Literally a human and a curse having a child. It explains it back in 1x24

And then I realise it's because they've been copy/pasted a bunch, lol
Not really hating much if anything, great insight, but yeah
They’re the first reactors I’ve seen notice chosos blood mixing with Yujis, but for some reason no one seems to notice or find suspicious what yuji says in the memories, and when u put in context with the blood mixing and the other brothers there, I feel like the answer is so obvious. Also it’s important to note Sukuna doesn’t care about yuji and was willing to die and he was just as shocked as the viewers when choso didn’t kill yuji
shhhhhhhhhhhhh
Yes😂 Like the scene is pretty blunt though they did drag it a bit for drama😅
check out dapperdarius. he's the only anime-only reactor that kinda figured out whats happening with choso and the brother thingy with yuji

@@xia0ting frrr, it’s cuz they all see Sukuna and go crazy and their minds just stop working and assume Sukuna did something to choso
Hey girls, as always very nice reaction. The last scene (Choso's "memories") will make sense in the end of the Shibuya Arc and the beginning of the next Arc. Everybody is losing their minds with it, but i can assure you that is not some random scene (actually, is very important for the plot).
Great intro and discussion. One of the best hand to hand fights ever animated. Choso is here and makes his mark!
The fact that some people don't know, Choso is basically a fetus and was born only a few months ths ago. Which means that this is his first ever combat which he never trained for. Choso wouldve probably beaten yuji easily if he mastered his curse technique and combat skills.
Not even that. If he’d known to stay out of the water yuji would’ve been ended so much sooner by the blood manipulation.
its crazy that even in that short amount of time, he already better than kamo at using Blood manipulation lol.
JJK often puts their characters on unfair fights xD Just watch Jogo with Gojo, and so on
@@reguluscorneas1366 yea they probably gonna finish the series thinking Nobara could’ve beaten Jogo
if you exclude special grade sorcerers and especially gojo and sukuna... i think everyone else can have problems against bad matchups.

Explaining the Buddhist concept behind the nine fetuses of the death painting (Kusozu) in Jujutsu Kaisen,
The paintings originate from a Buddhist meditation practice, in which the gradual decomposition of a female corpse is observed as it passes through the nine stages of decomposition.
The purpose behind contemplating the corpse is to reduce attachment to one's body, to remember true human nature: “We are part of nature and always will be.” and in some cases reduce sexual desire.
In Japan the nine paintings are called "Kusozu".
Gege may have used this misogynistic view to create the story of the Kosozu in Jujutsu Kaisen
Where a woman was used as mere study material for the most evil sorcerer in the Jujutsu world. Making her get pregnant and miscarry nine times.
Each of the nine cursed fetuses represents one of the paintings, and their names, appearances and abilities reflect the body's stage of decomposition.
First stage: Cho-so "Distension"
The body is still on the verge of death. The appearance remains the same as a human, but the tired eyes already show tiredness prior to death.
Second Stage: E-so "Rupture"
The body is relatively intact, but without blood circulation, cold and with torn skin, thus beginning decomposition.
The face on Eso's back represents the face beginning to decompose, hence the insecurity.
Third stage: Kechizu-so "Liquefaction"
Days after death, gases fill the abdomen.
Fourth stage: Noran-so "Putrefaction"
A lengthy period that can take up to 6 weeks to occur. The body has already entered the decomposition process, which is caused by worms and insects that appear inside the meat.
Fifth stage: Shouo-so "desiccation" and "discoloration"
The body begins to dry out and its appearance becomes much paler, becoming bluer.
Sixth stage: Tan-so "Consummation"
Animals such as rodents and birds begin to consume the body.
Seventh stage: San-so "Dissimilation"
The flesh begins to disappear, so the body divides into several different parts.
When Choso begins to be inspired by his brothers' techniques in the fight against Kenjaku, he uses what could possibly be Sanso's dissimilation technique.
Eighth stage: Kotsu-so "Bones"
Only the bones remain.
Ninth stage: Sho-so "Cremation"
After all stages, the bones are collected, they are cremated, leaving only the dust.
A curiosity:
In a meditation related to Kusozu, the "Paṭikkūla-manasikāra", dating from early Buddhism involves 10 stages of decay.
And Kenjaku (as far as we know) has 10 children.
This is just one of the several concepts that Gege addresses in an incredible way within the work, which only makes the characters more and more interesting.

Choso made Noritoshi look like a baby with those manipulation powers.
If he’d known about water fucking with his technique, he absolutely wouldn’t have gone into that bathroom
Death paintings like Choso are half humans half cursed spirits, theh have stronger cursed techniques but they still have physical bodies and non-sorceres can see them
There is a clue in the old episodes that foreshadows Choso's Hallucination but it is meant to be mysterious right now.
Like Gojo's domain, he affected everyone with a strong enough move to not accidentally kill people or recoil in the way that it destroys his throat.
u guys have rly good theories and ask rly great questions
Choso would mop Nanami 😭😭🤣
Choso looked magnificent this episode 🙏🔥
An highly pleasant surprise. Thanks ladies for giving this treat.
It wasn't until this episode I realized they were going somewhere with the cursed womb and the brothers. I thought they were just muscle for the "real" villains. But they are setting up Choso with both story and power level. This also reminded us there are more cursed wombs that don't have host bodies yet.
Shoutouts to Sachin. Been really noticing on videos, lately. I SEE you
I don't think Inumaki can control who is affected by his words that's why he speaks in onigiri ingredients.
Thanks for the reaction guys. Y’all are awesome 😎
Their thirst for Nanami, Gojo and Toji at the start 🔥
Choso can feel when his "brothers" lives are in danger
When itadori looked like he was gonna grab choso's hand at around 22:00, it was a reference to a movie called raid
Yuji 🤝🏻 Choso
Brothers ! ! !
“Nanami where are you?” Nanami would also lose to choso lmao
Bro I’m thinking the same thing. That would be insane
So close, but not a single reacter ive seen has thought "wait, we know nothing about yujis parents" and i feel like its pretty simple to understand whats going on as soon as you remember that
those legs are OP
Man they really didn't do supernova justice in the anime. They censored it up a decent bit, in the manga supernova is like blasts of buckshot and rips up Yuji's back. All it did in the anime was slightly burn Yuji's back and make a small hole in his jacket.
WOOOW TWO NEW REACTION VIDEOS IN ONE DAY IM LOVIN IT ❤❤❤
Episode just had me in awe
Even if Nanami had fought Choso, she would have lost just like Itadori. Remember that Japanese knotweed, the vessel of Sukuna, has a strong resistance to deadly poisons. Choso's blood contains deadly poison. It was okay because Choso's opponent was Itadori, but if Nanami had been there, Nanami would have died from Choso's highly poisonous blood.
remember sukuna never helps yuji he is the enemy after all.
Sukuna is petty af when it comes to yuji.
the thing with shoso memories is the same that happened with todo when he fight yoji and we saw memories of them going to school together
Yall are gonna love Choso istg 😩
16:43 look at big brain sam
Just gonna put out there that Sukuna is not THAT kind of character if you look back in S1 :) well, we’ll be reminded later on 🫠
And Chosoooooo! 😭💕
Kudos to the animators who did this amazing fight despite the tight schedule. Jeez the fluidity and camera work paired with the music and voice acting 👌🏼 ✨
That animation when choso had a flash back was amazing.
IMO rewatching ep 24 of the 1st season explains a lot about what happened this ep.
One thing yall going to learn. Sukuna don’t gaf about yuji. Next week episode will prove it. Buckle up
Choso will become a very popular character in the future❤
So every single channel and person just forgot that Sukuna doesn't care about helping and if Itadori dies or not
Every reaction channel says the same thing about choso "...for someone that doesnt have combat experience he is pretty good" knowing how to fight and combat experience is two different things.
Never once did it imply he didn’t know how to fight and people don’t realize that 😪
16:43 I guess the editor who did this effect on her face didn´t realize that she was precisely right 💀💀💀
shibuya's REAL incident starts next episode or whenever they show yuji again
You're 100% right double checking bodies 🤣 JJK world doesnt believe in cremation or making sure the body is there
Best fight of the year so far
In china back then, if 2 blood can mixing and blend together it mean there high chance we ar related by blood
I feel like no one can be mad at choso because yk yuji murdered his brothers so he wants revenge. But then again yuji is a great person so you don’t want him to lose.
Did everyone forgot abou how todo became his brother
16:43 BIG BRAIN MOMENT LOL
Sukuna ain't helping know one. The moment that mf comes out, everything's gonna get 1000x worse.
Choso of the Kamo clan and a more skilled blood manipulation user than Noritoshi Kamo
