This kind of things are why I never like or have a hard time trusting telepaths. Most people in fiction use them for similar or worse things. Characters like Miss Martian, professor x, Emma Frost, the purple man, dr psycho , and Max Lord are examples of why I consider telepaths less trusting than shape shifters. A shape shifter can make you feel betrayed at worst but a telepath can do things to a person worst than any physical injury.
That reminds me of Scarlet Witch from Marvel. I knew nothing about her from the comics, but I'll never forget how she didn't apologize for going showing Avengers their fears and bringing the Hulk out of Bruce, I waited for that the rest of the movie🤡
@@starrsmith3810 I agree with you there. The power they have doesn't matter, it's what they do with it that does. Bad guys are not people who are bad they like, Harley Quinn, and dead shot they’re good but they do the wrong things but they try to do good or be better especially dead shot. He does have a daughter same with Harley. But her using or abusing her like that is crossing the line, villain or not you shouldn’t put someone in that state what if he had a family friends people who rely on him, plus doing that to your friends and your boyfriend just because they’re upset with you. Don’t mean they hate you. It doesn’t mean you can go in their mind and erase memories like that tampering with mine is a dangerous thing it’s like playing with magic one wrong move and you’ll lose everything
I agree with you, people often unleashed their inner violence on someone whom they think is villain or bad guy/criminal. Such culture are spreading and some people take advantage of that kind of mentality
I'll be honest I like this version of super boy a lot because while he he was hard headed and a brute at time, especial early on, he was ultimatly still and kind and gentle soul.
This was pretty fucked up. The fact that Connor, a clone not a decade old, could understand the wrongdoing and Megan, someone almost 50 years old, could not; just goes to show that emotional maturity and wisdom does not always come with age. I know she's an Alien, but she consumed earthling media even before she came to earth, and they've been active on earth for about the same timespan.
Yes, and if you're an alien looking at human history, you would come to the conclusion that they do these kinds of things...and worse, more often than not. Almost all of us are a few too many missed meals or a power surge away from reverting to the savage chimps that destroyed all the other hominids and took over the Planet.
What Miss Martian was doing wasn’t wrong and Superboy was being a fucking idiot for believing that. I have nothing against Superboy, but he was wrong for believing that would Miss Martian was doing was wrong, because what she was doing wasn’t wrong, what she was doing was right.

I almost cried when he softened his voice !
At first I really only identified with Conner because I shared a name with him and Superman has always been my favorite super hero, but seeing the choices he makes and how he reacts to things, and the values he gains as he develops and being rooted in his origin really made him my favorite much more genuinely as the show went on
I’m fairly certain her psychic stuff being abused on him is an allegory for SA
You know she feels that more because she's a literal empath in a sense and can feel emotions as if they was her own..
Wow. A cartoon giving an example of healthy boundaries.
I never thought i would see a nonpsychic hurt a psychic mentally
Wow, this is GOOD!
Indeed, it's highly risky for a single individual to possess unchecked authority, as it opens the door for misuse of power.
If it were discovered that the "Bad Guy" was actually innocent, coerced, or blackmailed, they would tragically become a victim, having had their mind irreversibly scrambled by Ms. Martian.
Then using it on Superboy... dang...
This short is 10 times better any piece of media that has been released in the last 20 years

Bro came a long way since introduction. The way he articulated his feelings... man.
"There are not victims, there are the bad guys"

Oh shit. Fuck that takes me back.
"Sorry you got caught" is the correct one. At least one based writer on that show.
Bro got super rizz that he even make alien with physics power regret using mind read ability unknowingly 😅😅😅😅
