This is such an iconic video, I come back to watch it every now and then
Facts
This is how found footage movies start.
I felt like I was watching the episode of Trailer Park Boys where they're trying to see RUSH.
Some of the last footage of inside before it got imploded
TheMadDocktor WAIT what
why didn't you check any of the boxes? or anything. I swear if you found a shaq jersey I'd be tripping
If they did, do you really think they'd put up a video showing them committing theft?
Never mind bats, what about gators and water moccasins?
Literally thought the same thing. I'm surprised they didn't encounter any gators.
+bi_senpai Ikr like your in Florida
What on earth is water moccasin. ?
Please tell.
+Jan Collins i was curious about that as well.
+Jan Collins very poisonous snake found in the south
My high school graduation was held here in 2005. Man time goes by fast. My last name starts with a W and I had over 6000 students in my class so I was sitting for what felt like forever. Also went to many Magic games here. It's so sad to see it like this now. I know we have the new one but it just makes me feel kinda sad.
The Amway arena may be gone now, but the O'Rena, short for the Orlando Arena which was its first name, will always live on in our memories.
No. 1, you really need to start wearing real shoes. No. 2, That place is definitely not abandoned, just closed to the public.
Well it's gone now. Been 3 years.
+Chris Wells I didn't think the title said abandoned. Just closed. Plus he never said it was abandoned.
So cool to realize shaq and Hardaway played there when I was a kid I used to love shaq in the magic
Walking thru the sewer barefoot is what I call dedication to your channel! I don't think I would have went thru that in wading boots, THUMBS UP!
And plus this video is in Florida and you know how there's the alligators in Florida well he could have died
I used to go to the school that shared the parking lot of the old Amway arena. I saw them demolish it. Pretty intense. It's so weird seeing it gone, especially after seeing it everyday for a year. The school still uses the parking lot though. lol I've never seen it quite like this. Nice vid!
Looks like Amway bought the arena for their conferences.
I do recognize the lighting rig of all things.
Even though it was "abandoned", it looks pretty much in use to me.
Good find nonetheless. :)
If you look to the videos on the left you will see the building was imploded and no longer exists.
That was really cool! I'm a former Orlando Magic & Miracle dancer and called the O-rena home from 1994 though 2000. I've walked those behind the court halls and box level halls a lot. That red carpeted hallway that leads to the main ticketing windows, been that way many times. I hope they emptied everything that was left in the building before they demo'ed it. That would be a huge waste. An intense lead up to a very cool view! Thank you!
I am hooked on these videos of creepy closed places. The creepiest way into a place is a concrete bunker like Logan's Run entrance to an old arena. Later imploded? Fascinating as heck. I wonder what Disney World will look like when it goes defunct. Giant warehouse buildings in Iowa sit empty for years... all the lights on. And yes, why don't they let people bunk up in there. They bulldoze all the shanty houses but won't let anyone live in a perfectly fine building... lit and everything. Odd.
Yes I Agree Its So Creepy And Interesting!
Jeff Acheson lol me too! like abandoned new orleans six flags creepy lol.
Just Imagine Disney World will never go defunct
Never going to happen to Disney. The worst that can happen is a bigger giant arises in the future and buys them out
Adam, you are a f*cking mad man going in that sewer in FL! Seriously. Being a Floridian myself i don't need to tell you that just about every body of water has a alligator of some size in it. And barefoot no less. Balls of steel.
+n1lla thats what i was thinking was allagator
+n1lla i live in orlando they can't get easily into downtown
+TheKing3234 you don't know that...
Def Albino yes we doooo
Penny and Shaq dominatin back in the '90s there! So cool. Sad this piece of NBA history went to waste.
Woah really cool! I had been all over that building including backstage and never noticed that part. If you were willing to pay for the Orlando Magic highest premium season tickets, you used to get a backstage pass to every event there, including concerts. You couldn't get near the dressing rooms or the main stage, but you were usually allowed to watch the show from the wide open door area off the arena floor.
Rats, snakes, roaches, gators. You guys are nuts.
you got either balls of steel or are a damn maniac. Kudos for the footage!
No. he's a damn maniac
He's a damn maniac with balls!!
haha lol
The balls have since withered up, he no longer does these types of videos anymore.
is the video skipping or is it me?
+flyassqbn 720p wasnt encoded properly, the 480 works great !
Orlando means gators, right?! Anything that moves in that water is a potential predator!
it wont be a tragic loss it means one less stupid person to look after
Well can't go to there anymore. The building has been demolished.
It fits perfectly to play the sewer theme from Star Wars Shadows of the Empire in the background during the part where you’re exploring the sewer and the Xizor’s Palace theme when you’re running around the arena
YES!! Just discovered these videos, I grew up near Orlando and these are a blast from the past!
What brave young men! My goodness.....a lost flop, bats, and a dead flashlight! I have to say that I admire your tenacity. Success for you both! Excellent exploration!
To be continued?...... Waiting for that ... Where is it
Seriously, why would you explore abandoned places in flip flops anyway, especially when you have to walk for miles to get to some of those places? Dude, get you a good pair of shoes!
He's an idiot!
The water would ruin the shoe.
mejohnny88
not waterproof ones
actually ass holes, he is in a tight place with money right now, and is currently living in his van. give the man some credit for all he does for us.
rubber boots?
Awesome. Love coming across these hidden gems of yours Adam. So many Adam the woo videos!
Adam's very flip flop is said to be still there to this very day.
I've been to the new Orlando Arena twice. Nice place.
I'm amazed how such a nice relatively new building is abandoned and unneeded already. Can no one use it for anything?!
There was never a part two. :(
I am from Orlando and spent a lot of time in that arena. Sad to see that it got destroyed.
Great effort Adam! Amazing to see inside there.
this the video that got me hooked, been watching ever since. love your work, i know longer watch tv, i watch your channel thanks for entertaining me
I sang onstage with Green Day there! SO sad its gone. That was the only time I had ever been in there and holds a big place in my heart from that amazing experience!
I watch this video and think to myself, Adam will do whatever it takes for our viewing entertainment LOL. Thanks Adam!
Saving to my favorites list! well done Mr.Woo!
Really, really not wise to go through water like that without proper gear--bats living/flying over standing water is just the start of the water-borne "stuff" with which you're coming in too-close contact. The diseases contracted and/or injuries incurred can be permanently life altering. Seriously. PLEASE don't repeat it and PLEASE let others (i.e. those who may quite literally follow in your footsteps) know how, um, not smart it is to not take some basic precautions.
You do make very interesting, very watchable videos-your viewers (I think) want you around to make more!
Kittydoc90 aaaaaand now we have the corona virus..
@@kmatt420 yup
snuck inside our former BUFFALO memorial auditorium that say empty for twelve years love this shit!
thanks for making this video! this is one of my fav. from you and it brings back good memories from when i was 2 or 3
They built a new version of this sports and entertainment center, but it's now called Amway Center, home of NBA's Orlando Magic basketball. It is currently open.
When is part 2 coming out?! This is amazing.
And all the lights on.. nice..
So Fallout, much respect for doing all that!!!!
I've been watching your videos for the past couple days but I didn't want to commit to subscribing but after seeing this, you went in the SEWERS, I will sub.
Pure insane for sure my buddy Adam !!
I literally can't stop watching these videos.
Holy crap are you ever lucky there were no broken glass or dirty syringes in that water amongst the shank and toys!
I think I felt my skin crawl at least a few times in this video. Well done!
Cirque was using it to rehearse Zarkana, which played Radio City. The Old Arena was used as rehearsal space.
Saw the Grateful Dead there in 1994. Great sounding arena!!
Ready for Part 2!
How did an alligator not attack you???
Why is the footage after you actually get in so rushed and choppy? And why no part 2? Before anyone comments I KNOW he can't go back now put I mean, I got the vibe that Part 2 meant the part where they are inside, and then leaving maybe? With less chopped up scenes and such. Did something happen to the footage back then?
+omgubler Part 2 was cancelled due to the arena being demolished
Clearly they filmed more of the inside before they left, and before it got demolished.
The building was most likely still being watched over by maintenance workers, so every single shot they took had to be quick and rushed so they don’t get caught.
Up in Virginia, i adventured a old quarry, with working excavators and all, I also discovered a dynamite plunger. it is now at the local museum
The best yet. This may put you on legendary status...we'll see.
I must give you props for your effort! So cool! I would have been scared out of my brain haha
It looks like Cirque du Soleil was occupying it for Zarkana when they were testing the show that's why all the blue cases and rigging was there. You can see the logo at 6:18.
Hi Adam...this is Mike again. I just wanted to make sure that you know that this is by far the greatest method of gaining entry into anyplace that you've ever employed. Awesome. Also, I noticed from other videos that the place has since imploded, too bad you wont be able to go back in. Thanks for the video. P.S. HI to Beth.
such a quiet and more low-key Adam! I didn't even recognize him hardly! LOL
I was there to actually see it get demolished. Exciting yet sad. I had a lot of childhood memories there.
Hoping you were able to recover your lost flip flop! Next time I think rain boots will do the trick down those creepy underground passages. Awesome work! Too bad the video couldn't have been longer!
I have a cousin who lives just a couple of minutes away from the Amway Arena. He has lived in Orlando for 20 some years.
You're most welcome, Adam. You can call me Kathy. I took the name 'Cshell' from my old CB radio handle back in the day - lol. It gave me the creeps to watch you walk through that tunnel in the dark - wow! You are brave - lol.
I can't believe you made it in to the building!!
oh man, you got guts!! To go in that water.. your awesome!!
Orlando LOOKS great, when is part 2😤
+Jason Eastman u mean its pretty? because i live in orlando, it sucks
The lights are on and there is concert rigging which likely means a production was renting the space for pre tour rehearsals and design builds. They do it in Toronto where I live in old airplane hangers.
I’m somewhat obsessed with this video. I’ve analyzed it more than the Zapruder film. This is the one that got me watching all those years ago but I just now found a continuity error. I came back to watch it again after the tunnel was pointed out in a video a couple days ago. Adam, you lose your flip flops and go barefoot. We see in the Flurbex video that you’re wearing shorts. However, Flurbex video from inside the arena shows you wearing jeans and sneakers. What’s the story? And where is part 2? Thanks for all the years of entertainment!
i went to two games there i miss that old buddy he was my favorite arena.
awesome exploration man! must have been great to get inside and see everything and actually be on the court and see how big it was, sucks they tore it down though. I was planning on exploring it myself until I saw they tore it down. it sounded like a alarm went off or something when u guys got in the actual arena but idk lol. anyways very cool man I also explored old bush stadium in indy before they tore it down cuz I live in Indianapolis but if u ever need someone to explore with, let me know
adam the woo makes my day
Great job, Adam! I enjoyed it! :)
Just wait until I tell Rich DeVos you broke into his building!
Did you come up thru the toilet?
HAHAHA MADE MY DAY
Poor hotwheels in the sewer ;(
Adam, what were you thinking on this one,. You have balls.
I didn't know it had closed. The Magic were after a new arena for a long time and had a lot of people upset. And it's right next to I-4 and the federal building so very visible.
Something phoney here.
Once they are inside.... all the lights are on.
Abandoned buildings do not have lights on.
Unless there is a maintenance contract through the property owner/holder to maintain the building(s) for future sale.
I will die in that water sewer!...
But they implode that building last year (2012), and build a new one in other area closed to down town Orlando.
I really like your videos Adam!
Too Cool!! I have always been Interested in Looking at Old Abandoned Places! Would Like to meet You!
Dude u are so brave to go through the sewers like that!
If you like stadiums in particular, you should look into the Astrodome in Houston, been dormant for almost 10 years now.
This is my favorite video you have!
I FREAKIN LOVE UR VIDEOS ADAM!!! When u coming down to disneyland in anaheim ca!
Anyone willing to Shawshank through sewage tunnels to get the story is worth the Edward R Murrow award... Nicely done !
-- Dave.
That was before they closed the building and Cirque du Soleil was still using the building. That is why it still had power and all the rigging equipment.
I would of laughed if an alligator was in there
Fitting theme for this video is the sewer level theme from Shadows of the Empire and then the Xizor's Palace theme when you get into the arena.
Adam could you please upload part 2. I've been waiting forever!
I wish this was longer with more footage
Of course a Disney ad would play before this video
I miss this building terrible, so many great memories from events here. Wish i had known about this secret passage during WWE events and some concerts.
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time you were in the sewer and it totally did not look abandoned once you got in the arena o.O
If there's anything moving in the sewer water in Orlando, it's a rat, a snake, or an alligator.
Bro what how the fuck did u get in through that hell hole even better you went through that shit bare foot! Absolute menace
Can't wait to see the continuation of this video.....That arena looks to be in good condition still....What are they planning to do with it ? Tear it down ?
Nothing like being prepared,dude 😂
pretty brave man I salute you
