There were so many things I saw that I loved.....the bird baths, the pink Depression glass, the Singer sewing machine base, the beautiful writing desk (you loved it too!), the old door, and on and on! Thank you and your husband for taking us along.....it was a lot of fun!
Auctions are so much fun and we always see something that we want or could use. We do the same thing about pricing-we have an idea of how we are willing to spend on an item and we try hard to stay at that price. Just watching people bid is fun, too. Glad you had fun!

I would turn the wooden hutch thing into a bathroom vanity. I loved the wooden door, I would use as my bedroom door. I would look in a salvage yard to pick up glass knob. I also loved the wooden half table I would use in my entryway with the beautiful photo and frame above it. Loved the candlesticks as well. Cindy, I saw so many things, my list would go on and on. My main goal now is to look for something I can turn into a bathroom vanity and old antique hutches I can repurpose into kitchen cabinets. I would like to search auctions, reclamation yards, or estate sales.

I would have used the little half table (I think they are called a Demilune table) in one of my spare rooms. Such a cute table! I’ve also am going to visit several reclamation yards to find an old fashioned either butler sink, or 1940’s / 50’s sink with a built in draining bit. But am definitely interested in watching your tutorial converting washstands or cabinets into vanities.
I just found your channel. I love it because I love auctions. I have been doing online estate sales auctions. They can last a good 12 hours. That’s what is nice about online I can still get other things done. The bad thing is they don’t have rusty, crusty goodies.

I’ve never been to a auction. I hit a lot of Estates sales though. I just feel I’m not that lucky to bid on something I want n so does someone else n the bid goes up n up. Can’t afford that. Besides not many around my area where I live. I did see quite a few items I wouldn’t mind having though. Like your husband idea with the birdbaths. Love to have one. It did look like a lot fun to do. So did you guys end up staying for the morning auction? If so what did you get? ♥️😊👍🌟
Bidding can be a challenge at auctions but I have a dollar figure fire of what I will spend on an item before I start bidding. When it gets to that point, I stop. We didn’t stay for the day and went home with nothing! That’s ok, there will be more next time 😊

We get outbidded alot because we are so cheap🤪 It saves us money! Haha! But sometimes it's so dissapointing to loose the bid!
