He's referring to the spot at Backlash where Rey was on the stretcher and Big Show swung him into the ring post. When he landed on the floor, it was head-first and it gave him a concussion.
Pretty good interview. But Triple H was rightfully criticized at that time, because his reign of terror from 2002-2004 was just god-awful. As far as Shawn Michaels goes - he never was well-liked, even when he returned as a born again christian. Respected for his in-ring work, weak in the character departement... So basically the same as in the 1990s.
Michaels weak in the character department? He was one of the most charismatic people of alltime, good on the Mic, so what you’re saying rn is absolutely bs, HBK can easily be the greatest overall talent of alltime, and Triple H was rightfully pushed, his 20 min promos to start a show were horrible, pretty sure it wasn’t his idea and he was still incredible on the Mic though.
@@Ghost-Face420 I'm not talking about Michaels as a performer in front of the camera. I'm talking about the human behind the camera. And he was a mook according to severel people within the WWE. When he returned as a born again whatever in 2002, he wasn't as bad and destructive as he was in the mid to late 90s... But he was still far from being a good guy. He never put any value on being a good person, and by the way: I just farted.
What’s wild is edge was 29 here in 2024 he’s 50 and still wrestling.
Quitting wasn't an option the money was too good to pass
What did he mean by "i dont wanna see what happened ro Rey because that would piss me off?"
