Reality tv was the start of cancel culture. We gave non talented people exposure and gave them status by exploiting their lives. These 'stars'' were ripe for comedy and as reality tv became more so did the jokes. You can't exploit their stars lives and do offensive jokes about them.

Bullied as a nurse gaslit when speaking up for ma wee self!
Ten months later still waiting, still disconnected from workplace (cancelled?).
But have mentally written lots of script material for a comedy educational movie with the utility of time (passing excruciatingly painful ten months) my reflections of seventeen years of mental health addiction nursing and the fact I'm nearly 'half a century young'.💜
I refuse to be bullied gaslit stonewalled cancelled. Even.
Just need to keep 😀 and 🤣.
Moving forward.💜
Have you been suspended from your work?
No not suspended.💜
Peer pressure is a powerful psychological tool, which is why some people are not able to disengage from the opinions of other comedians
Tom is great.
You have to defend Freedom with a gun. 🤷🏻♂️
IT'S ABOUT FORKING TIME!!!
Toms the best, It is Lez misandrist feminists that is the poison killing comedy
I remember Punch Lines in Gastown!
Podcasters thread a thin line between compelling content vs listening to strangers have an uninteresting conversation. Triggernometry failed to thread that line today.
I'm sick to death of them interviewing comedians. I don't find the "F" word in the least bit Funny, and it's all they say.
Tom has great energy never heard of him he seems very genuine i gotta check out his comedy
Same here. His energy kinda reminds me of Sean Penn.
used to be on tv quite a bit in the U>K. about 15 years ago then disappeared from our screens, like Chris Addison, and several contemporaries of theirs , who were regualry on, but then all got the boot because they 'didn't fit'.
I think things have gone well beyond some form of backlash. You don't get totalitarian impetus through a juvenile rebellious streak.
Sounds like a comedian I'd like to see. And hear.
Interesting conversation, think I know what he means now
If your terrified then your in the wrong business
Wow, I've never wanted to skip an advert so much than listen about some tool called Rob.
French movie "Flashback" is an entire comedy about rape, and is brilliant. The French seem to hate it, which guarantees it's worth watching. Dickens "A Christmas Carol" meets "Peggy Sue Got Married".
I dont understand this at all. I've never felt "censored" on a stage in my life.
Reality tv was the start of cancel culture. We gave non talented people exposure and gave them status by exploiting their lives. These 'stars'' were ripe for comedy and as reality tv became more so did the jokes. You can't exploit their stars lives and do offensive jokes about them.
Anyone know what's happened to the raw shows?
I wonder what he thinks of what direction his buddy, Frankie Boyle went.
What did Geoff Norcot say that upset him?
Does someone know what he means?
Get Will Franken on!
Never seen him but he seems OK
Ffs just crack funny jokes, never mind the censors. Next!
Tom sounds a bit like Denis Leary in Demolition Man.
Gee, never heard the boys talk about this topic before.
They are definitely not the interesting part of the content eh
Long live The Hip!!!!❤❤❤
Jesus man, how many times can y’all talk about this topic and still be interested? Boooooring
The truth is with this recent economy Everyone needs more than there salary to be financially stable. The the best thing to do with your money is to lnvest it rightly because money left for saving always end up used with no returns..
*I traded with him, The profit are secured and over a 100% return on investment directly sent to your wallet.*
Hi mr,Bart Stephen’s can you and you bots fuck off and quit scamming and while your at it maybe you could give me some tips investing my special energy into your wife
AFAIK, laughter in humans is a evolutionary holdover from primate signaling of fear and danger. The things that evoke surprise and pain are funniest. Some one should tell these woke scolds that comedians are necessary to warn the human tribe to pay attention, and silencing them will allow the giant predator in the grass below to eat us all.
Yeah they wouldnt get it. The true ideologs cant see how they could be wrong, and brook no critique. The rest, well itll be a struggle but they will come around when they see the consensus shifting. NPCs gonna NPC and all that.
Tom "You Know What I Mean" Stade.
Wait, This is the same Tom from Mock the Week and QI and that! 😲
Where’s the line between cruel comedy and decency itself? I’m not arguing for censorship but audience preferences may simply opt to move away from the cruel stuff
I'm sick to death of them interviewing comedians who have nothing to say except the "F" word. I didn't subscribe to hear about comedians but about politics and academia. I've been around since the beginning but I'm ready to leave.
@@grannyannie2948 Unsubscribe then. Two comedians doing a podcast and you are surprised that they interview comedians? Not just that, but two comedians who were blacklisted for not reciting the doctrine of the woke cult. It shouldnt come as a shock that they interview some comedians that have similar beliefs.
But its a personal choice, if you dont like it then dont watch. I find a lot of their political stuff boring and going on about the tranagender issue boring, so I tend not to watch those shows now.
@@grannyannie2948 is a bot, second comment the same, not much point in it anyway, get fucked off if your don't like it!
@@davidkelly499 I have been with their serious discussion interviews from the very beginning and I'm instrumental in their audience following in Australia. We don't listen to their "raw" rubbish. They have no actual comedic value we followed for the intellectual discussions. They are not in the least bit funny by Australian standards. Any Old bloke in any pub can tell better jokes.
@@grannyannie2948 I suppose thats why Australia has so many successful comedians? (Thats just a joke). But you come across as a child, stomping your feet because these guys arent doing what you want. If you dont like it, unsubscribe and stop watching them. Its as simple as that. Or contact them directly and see if they value your feedback.
The interviewee starts "i was a comedian in canada", you can imagine what follows if you're vaguely consicous of canada
That wig though!
