  • Matterhorn Mountain has been knocked off the list and it was Scary, Wild and Wonderful! The Yeti scared me but wasn't bad.

    So cute. I love taking my kids to Disneyland and just watching their faces. There was one time when my son was 9 and I took him. Just the two of us. And I’ll never forget it. Such a special day.

    I can't wait to take my grand daughter to Disneyland some day, she is 9 years old now. We took her to Disneyworld a year ago because my parents live in Florida but I know Disneyland has rides that Disneyworld doesn't have. I loved your reaction and I love these type of videos because it makes me want to save money in order to go on this trip, I am glad you had an awesome trip !!

    Somewhere back around 1999-2000, I was in a transitional period in my life:
    -USMC (1987-2002);
    -The Dept. of Defense (1997-2007);
    -Had just divorced my first wife (m. 1996-99; different plans in life, but we’re still good friends to this day.);
    -Was working @ the Disneyland Resort (1997-2002), as a Resort Security CM;
    &…
    -I had become a single dad to three adopted kids (a boy and girl-twins (b. 1993), from Ukraine 🇺🇦; and a boy (b. 1995), from Poland 🇵🇱) [NOTE: Had a little help from my ex-wife and her fiance (a fellow Marine officer and good friend)…
    During the adoption process, I remember my ex- and I taking my [future] kids to Disneyland for THEIR first-ever visit. My mother and her sister/my aunt also accompanied us. The kids were still learning English, in addition to being fluent in their native languages as well as German (which I happen to be fluent in). Anyway, they were SSOOOOOO cute, consistently asking questions about this and that, and what does what, and what does this or that tastes like, and if Marnie-my ex- -and I had been here before, and so on and so forth…
    😄😁🥲🥹😅😂🤣❤️🤍💛💙
    By the end of their “debut” visit, I was worn out just answering all their questions and such…🥵!!!
    But…
    Yeah…
    If Heaven is relieving 365 of the best days of your life, I would rate that day as one of those 365 days. Since that day, we’d been back many times since. Today, I’m happily retired (was with the ILWU/Longshoremen from 2003-2016), as well as happily remarried…❤️🤍🩷. My kids are all grown up now, and doing EXTREMELY WELL I life. However, we have not been back to the DLR since June 2015. During that time, however, we did get back to SoCal (we were living up OR/WA way by then), and we went w/ one of my younger brothers’ kids: my nephew (8 yrs old then) and his little brother and sister (twins; 4 yrs old then). Good times…
    🫶🏻🙌👍🏻✊🏻✌️🤘🏻💪🏻🙏💚💛💙
    (NOTE: Since our last visit was “Pre-Galaxy’s Edge”, during those five days we visited, for dinner every night, we pigged out at the [now-extinct] Big Thunder Ranch BBQ 🍗🍖🌭🥤🌽🍞🧈🥗
