Today I’m checking out the Wemo Stage smart home remote for Homekit. With this smart switch you can control to 6 scenes or Homekit devices. While it sounds great on paper I found lots of issues with it’s Bluetooth connection and build. It promises future support of Thread which may change some of my issues. Will you pick one up? Omg I’ve been waiting for a HomeKit button for sooo long, and this could be perfect if it had thread! I’ll have to wait a bit longer and see if thread support makes it more reliable because I can be dealing with those Bluetooth issues haha

My Stage Remote worked for a day and when I reset it to factory settings it wouldn't allow me to add it to the Home app. When I attempt to add it to the Home app, the QR code in the back doesn't budge and when I pair it using the number next to the QR code, it says wrong code. Has anybody experienced this? I partnered withe Wemo support and my case got escalated. We tried various troubleshooting steps and now I have a paperweight.
