Thanks for the footage, especially the pits. No one else covers Tsukuba race days as good and uploads quickly. Keeps us hard core fans, who are on the other side of the world, updated with the latest cars, teams and setups. Who else remember the days when running a sub 1 min lap was unbelievably quick?
Why are there no 86s out in high level time attack? I often hear people say the chassis is better than the s2k. Powertrain lacks of course but maybe engine swap? or built motor?
Just me or do most of these setups seem very simple . Like nothing too crazy. Apr wing voltex front splitter v-mount cooling setup big brakes etc. Just like the basics like some of the cars could of been built in there garage. (Not all of them but some of em)
haha he's a friend actually - last we talked he wanted me to photograph the car in it's current stage for volume 2 of the book! I think it was just coincidence he was closing it as I walked up.
Sometimes I dream about selling all my cars, busting my ass and saving money for a year, then relocate to japan & build a S13. Find a hole in a wall with a garage near Tsukuba and join the old timers that are always there wrenching & racing.
Just the content, not stupid conversations. You did an excellent job!!! Post more like this!

Thank you so much for these amazing coverage for various fast TA cars...... keep up the good work.
incredible content! grassroots racing at its best, everything was so calm and relaxed amidst the crazy racing going on in the background!

Nice to see AMB Aero working with the Escort Evo team.
I would love to see what the time would be around Tsukuba for a modern super gt gt500 car. you teased me at the end there.
we were hoping they'd do a lap as well!

Great video, keep it up please!
thank you!
Great stuff!!!! Do any of the wide bodied cars use spacers for the wheels or are they built to spec ?
typically you want to avoid large spacers as they increase scrub radius; most of the wheels are very wide with appropriate offsets. e.g. 18x11j +16
Narita Dogfight 🙏

The current TC2000 record is held by an 86
@@NaritaDogfight I saw that! The HKS 86. I thought the record wasnt counted because they ran slicks? I'm not very informed obviously haha.
