I use my wood burning tool for all the mesh. Poly burlap is the best. I don’t like that burning tool you’re using. I can control the wood burning tool better. Thanks for the video!

After burning my thumb and finger with the wood burning tool, this might be a better option for me! Trying to cut with the hot knife takes forever!

I have concerns about vapors released by the burning and harming lungs.

@@themermaidstale5008 It is recommended that one wear a mask when using the tool. I put my ceiling fan on high and use two other fans to blow the fumes away.

You use the heat for poly burlap and you can also put 2 pieces of poly burlap and it seals 2 pieces together. Julie's uses a heat gun. Do not hold it so long

Could you cut a 20 inch deco MESH. I have so many rolls of 20 or 21 inch and I rather use a 10 inch wide for my products anymore. Or do you prefer a wood burner for wreaths and other items

I've tried the wood burning tool on my mesh. It still frays really bad. I only tried hobby lobby deco mesh tho.. I wasted alot of mesh 😞. Any idea what I'm doing wrong ?

HL mesh is good quality imo. Do you cut through the squares so that it leaves a vertical line of mesh on each side?

Hi Josephine, I think it works better with poly burlap mesh or fabric mesh. You can also use a wood burning tool to cut your mesh.

Probably good idea to read the instructions from the manufacturer before you use the machine in case there may be danger to you from the different mesh you are using.😮
