Oh my heart, Erin. My son has a similar teacher who just seems to take everything personally and too often IMO, he labels Josh as disrespectful at times too. I totally get the frustration you feel and that advocating can get emotionally exhausting. I see you, chin up, you are a rock star Momma!!

I agree with you - sometimes it depends on why they were out. We were the same with ours.
Decades is easy, especially 60’s and 70’s, jean’s and a wild top, neons for 80’s
By the way, that tissue from the Washi Tape shop is beautiful in layering and journal spreads!
We sometimes make cornbread pancakes - they are very good! I think they might be called Johnny cakes. You can also add in some whole wheat or buckwheat flour (1/2 and half with regular flour) at least for the adults.

Me too, we are in Coastal Mississippians we are usually back in school August 1 or close to it! I never thought this made any sense because the schools have to be air conditioned throughout the hottest month of the year!

A brightly colored scarf wrapped around her head with a tie dyed shirt with shorts or jeans and you’ve got the sixties/seventies (my kids raid my scarves and closet for costumes 😊.

As a Baby Boomer, I would dress with a flowery kaftan, bells and flowers in my hair (what is left of it!).
@JashiiCorrin is phenomenal with bullet journaling and she has videos that show you how to do Dutch doors, etc.
I LOVE her! She is seriously so talented in a bullet journal. I also really love @ErinSmith - she does a fantastic job. I actually won one of her journals in a giveaway (she did January through June and set up every page for me) and it was beautiful! She just gave away her second one for the second part of the year.
Crockpot pizza is so easy and healthy if you are watching carbs. Everything but the crust.

Honestly, it sounds like his teacher is bullying him - straight up. Sometimes teachers don't vibe with kids - my oldest daughters 4th grade teacher was an actual NIGHTMARE. I couldn't understand how she still had a job. Some people just aren't meant to work with children..... He SIGHED!?! That's the most ridiculous excuse I've ever heard.... He is too young to be worried about being a good student... Honestly I've never heard another child say anything like that so it shows he is VERY aware of things we probably don't pay attention to. Teachers should be uplifting and understanding. Im sorry he's going through that... Most won't understand why i feel this way but its because my child went through something similar and she HATED going to school because of it. The next year? She had one of the best teachers and hated missing a day of school. It assured me i wasnt wrong in how i felt about her teacher and the way she was treating her. I hope next year he doesn't come across anyone with the same vibe/outlook.

Sadly for me the WTS are too expensive. I wish I could afford washi from them, but with the inflation here in Norway the Norwegian kroner is so little worth now. We have our own Biden that's ruining our economic.
I think they’re expensive too, but I love seeing hauls!
I was just talking about how damn expensive everything is becoming ... It's crazy that they want to inflate prices but they don't want to inflate pay to accommodate such!
