Great. Chris was a great stand-in for us viewers. I totally understood the explanation and the demonstration but seeing Chris articulate the music made sense to me, and, as a pianist, I feel like I practiced physically and got a sense of the instrument, simply because I'm used to pianos.

I love this! As a new accordion student, this makes me feel so much better about my own progress. This video was fun and encouraging for me to watch. I have a feeling Chris will be getting his own accordion!
I'm a new accordion player, but I have over 3 decades of musical experience otherwise (mainly guitar and keyboard) and I understand music theory very well. I obviously already understand the piano keys, and I theoretically understand the accordion bass buttons but am unsure how to approach them. My challenge is finding instructional accordion videos for someone like me who isn't a beginning musician, just a beginning accordion player.
I would like to suggest that you make a playlist of left-hand techniques 🙂

This is my exact position as a pro musician, I can pick it up & mess around but I feel like I’m missing some fundamental knowledge/tips on how to move around the left hand positions more efficiently & naturally.

My ringfinger: "Nope! I'm gonna play D-flat minor and lock your middlefinger 😌"
😄 yuuuuup. Been there. Done that. Brain and fingers don't agree on certain things. Take it slowly 🙂
