- Using the lowest possible angles, here is a video of our miniature dachshund Mac from below. He looks rather tall through a worm's eye view :)

Thank you so much for posting videos of this little guy. When I see him, I feel a bit like I have my dog back with me again. She was a Chiweenie (Dachshund - Chihuahua mix) named Nikki who we had to be put down at age 3 due to spinal injury with severe pain that caused terrible suffering. Take care of that delicate little Dachshund spine. I have a really special place in my heart for Dachshunds and Dachshund mixes. Their spines can be vulnerable. I will say prayers for little Mac's good health. He is so cute. Seeing him heals bits and pieces of my heart gradually. I lost my sweet Nikki last year, and it was deeply devastating. Thank you for sharing your sweet little doggie with the world! Long life and great health to you and your sweet little doggie! 😊

Mac is such a comedian 😅! He lurks a bit like a vulture!
I am a big dog person having an elderly weimaraner now with plans to have an old English sheepdog next. We tend to alternate between these two breeds. However there is something very special about dachshunds. May be because they think they are big. My parents dachshund ran with our weimaraner and jumped into the same streams. We had to watch her because small hills to our weimaraner were mountains to her short legs and paddling in streams was swimming for her. It was all such a surprise to her as she was convinced she was running with a dog her size. She had such self belief. Wendy

That last shot of Mac hanging over the side of the bed with his ears fanning out was epic! I noticed as the light shined thru his ears they looked red. We had a mini named Sydney who would get so excited his ears and gums would get blood red and hot to touch! I used to say I wondered what his blood pressure was right then. Does that happen to Mac when he gets wound up too?😂

Please just be careful my little dog 🐶 jumped off the bed all the time then one day something had to his hip he was screaming😢 and in pain I had to take him to vet no more jumping off the bed ❤
