- I suspect Finland was made by the devs to have this secret power that no other nation has ever had; to shatter the meme of artillery only and make it incredibly strong.
well, I found it PDX devs!!
I was able to get 2 achievements with this run, lone wolf and No One Crosses the Finnish Line although you may not want to follow in my footsteps here 😁
while once I do get the ball rolling, it is hyper strong, the build up phase was difficult to figure out, and hence the disaster save sent to Bitt3rSteel. Hopefully he will rescue me ❤️ and of course roast me for my stupidity.

Those early years were slow and painful, but watching how quick things built after the soviets stalled was the most awesome.
Yeah, the biggest issue early on here was not manpower, but getting enough artillery in the field to be able to hold all the tiles.

About selling weapons in the market: The AI is pretty clever (never tought I would say that in hoi...) when it comes to buying it needs, if the AI needs tanks it'll look for the best at the smallest price, so if you are trying to sell Basic rifles at normal price and another AI is selling Basic rifles at lower price it'll try to buy the cheaper. So where is the news/relevant news? Look what the AI is selling first then pick a better price so you'll sell first. Sources: I play alot of Italy (my profile pic is an M14/41 tank...) and for some reason the AI refuses to buy my L3 light tanks in 37 at the higher prices!

@@hatless_spider oh it’s a mod, it’s short for equestria at war, at first I was really off put by the source material but it’s actually pretty sick. It’s a total overhaul mod that has a entirely different world but it isn’t bloated at all and is really solid in total

Definitely unusual, although my normal habit is to seek misery and difficulty, so maybe that's why they were merciful?

Hello! I watch most videos on 2x speed, and due to this, the background music in this video was a major annoyance.

@@hatless_spider I felt that it played too many beats per minute. Perhaps a different track would've been more to my liking.
Ofcourse, you don't have to change anything for me, I am in the major minority, watching videos at 2x speed. If you like the music, you should keep it.

Finland does have a lot of artillery in our timeline, so this makes a certain amount of sense in a roundabout way.
the island of aland had a red outline meaning it was demilitarized. That's why your soldiers couldn't go there, but neither can the soviets as long as it stays that way. Even during war time. It is scripted (in this scenario) for the island to lose its demilitarized status tho.
I love how Hatless forgot demilitarization exists in Hoi4.
