Fun fact, had the War of the Triple Alliance not happened and had Paraguay had similar population growth to Argentina, they'd have nearly 3 million pop in 1936.
That's a bit unfair, Argentina had firehose immigration that Paraguay was never going to have
@@sevastopolveneto1568 I actually did some more reading into this subject and turn out that between 1870 and 1940, the Paraguayn population growth actually exceeded that of Argentina.
But, to be fair, they did everything they could to increase population growth, which wouldn't have happened had the war not occurred.
I'm also basing my number for the Paraguayn population growth rate on the assumption that Wikipedia is correct, which it might not be, since the numbers around the subject are debated to this day.
Still, even with a conservative estimate, they'd have at least 2 million pop by 1936, which is double that of reality.

Might explain the unit movement timing is that when you attack an enemy unit it applies a massive % speed debuff to your units. You can hover over it during an attack and it is something like 80%. It is the reason you want to break a front line with only a handful of your light tanks so the others get no speed reduction when taking the tile if you're trying to snake.

There are some South American focus tree mods, but I like this dlc. The mods were balanced and the dlc has ridiculously overpowered features. I love it
