4:40 thats definitely not a tig weld thats a mig weld with hardwire. Do you see the glass spots ?

It seems most of the guys who work there only stick weld. Stick welding and MIG welding are both relatively easy. What is difficult is TIG welding stainless steel, aluminum, and brass. And you can make reallt good money being a mutiwelder. Being able to get on any machine mig ,stick, tig and being able to weld anything thin or thick.

6:55 I would definitely not weld structural steel with MIG hardwire; it is too weak. I have to run that flux-cored; it is as strong as stick welding, or close to it if ran right!

Why would slag left on top of the cap be considered an inclusion? Is there something about that that affects the strength, or is it just cosmetic?
