I love when you say “painty paper”, “fussy cut”, “cheap store”, and when you say “yeah” when something turns out to your liking. Your videos are so creative, beautiful, and so simple to follow. Thank you for taking the time to share your creativity. The first video I saw of yours was when you took nail polish to paint the dragonflies and put them on with a cheese cloth background, from then I was hooked. Keep creating 😍
Beautiful effects Noit. I really like the quilted pages you demonstrated with. I think they would make beautiful backgrounds for a journal page. The colours were so vibrant and the quilt affect really popped. Look great making the stamp journal page. Thanks Noit for another creative fix for me. AUSTRALIA - ANNETTE. 🙏🙏🙏💜🙏🙏🙏
You are a true creative genius! I had no idea what you were going to reveal from your first batch. Simply stunning! You are so creative. I started the day in a crafty way & now thanks to you I’m going to finish it that way too!!! Have a great weekend! Thank you so much for the constant inspiration! I can’t keep up!
Had to run to my art desk and get creating! Such a great way to repurpose all the painty papers, gel prints and scrapbook paper. Thanks for this fun idea!
I REALLY love this idea! It’s not crazy at all. I don’t have painty papers so I would use my scrapbook papers like you did, too. Yes, there are so many directions and possibilities with this technique. Thanks for sharing.
One "crazy idea" tuned into such marvelous projects. Using pattern scrap paper is a great idea as well all have pieces we are not fond of or have way too much in our stash.
Noit, your so called “crazy ideas” are always fabulous and so creative. Thank you for again creating pieces that use supplies that most of us would have or be able to replicate in our own way. 😀
I actually have a quilt that I made using this technique. I never thought about using quilt block patterns in my multi-media art. Thank you for the inspiration.
You never cease to amaze me. I have so much fun making gel prints or “ painty” pages then I don’t know what to do with them. This is a fabulous idea, can’t wait to give it a go ❣️ I wish I could have a play date with you, we would have soooo much fun 🤣
This looks like so much fun. My sisters and I get together once a month to do an art or card project, this will be mine for March when it is my turn. Thank you for sharing this!
Keep up those crazy ideas please Noit. They never fail to inspire me. It amazes me, what you come up with and I always say "why didn't I think of that" ? thanks so much. Keep up your great ideas, crazy or not. TFS :-)
You have got the best "craziest" ideas! You always make magic! I can't wait till I have a day off from work to try this one. Thank you for all your videos!!
I just love your quilt effect. You just gave me an other way to decorate my greeting cards, tags, bookmarks, journal covers, etc, etc. You make beautiful trees. Thanks so much.
Noit how clever. I just had a breast cancer operation on January 31. I have so many painted papers. This will be a great one to jump back into art. Thank you for sharing.
Brilliant!!! I have a bunch of gelli prints and marbled paper scraps that would be perfect for this! Thank you so much for sharing! Love your ideas and watching you...something new all the time! Hugs , from North Carolina
Brilliant. TFS .Now I know what I'm doing with all my painti papers. I have allot and I really want to try this teqnique. Your tree is fantastic and you are so talented. Hugs
I am just amazed. I've seen a couple of your videos in the last days and it is the only thing that has put any spark of creativity into my mind. This covid-19 issue is just eating up any available brain space as I learn to try to do my job from home here in Texas while enduring endless IT issues & not leaving much left over. Can't wait to do some some of your items. Again I love your crazy ideas there's so much in tune with how I look at stuff. And I love the idea of using leftover paint to make painty papers - I am going to be doing that. I love using things in a different way and you have mastered that. Thanks so much!
Oh you could make a stencil of this tree. It is simple but it is beautiful tree! You are so creative. Hope you don’t mind if I use your ideas! Thank you.
My friend and I live far apart from each other so we've been crafting together via Skype. We're in our eighth year of weekly Skype Crafts! We started by doing an Altered Book Altered Art/Mixed Media Book. We call them "AAJ" [Altered Art Journal"] We are currently on AAJ3-12 [12th page of our third journal]. We've been on other adventures. We made our own paper, made our own journals [they don't have names yet], we made faux leather which we are turning into little mini-journals, lap books, etc. I wouldn't call your work crazy as in Crazy Ideas LOL Just sharing our naming convention should it spark an idea in your head. It's really easy to find videos when there is a numbering system in the naming conventions. In our partnership, I'm the one that watches a tonne of UA-cam videos. The ones that I think are fun, I email them to my partner with notes. She doesn't like to sit still so on longer videos I'll either summarize or give her time stamps for important techniques. Later, sometimes months later, she'll say "I was watching a video you sent" and tell me the name of it and then prattle on with her thoughts. I'm always lost 'cause I can never remember what the video names are, specially if they're generic like Mixed Media 22. What the heck is that? LOL then she'll explain and usually, I'll remember but sometimes I don't so she has to link the video into Skype and usually as soon as I see the visual I remember. That's how we come up with a lot of our project ideas. We just finished your "Painty Papers Positive and Negative" videos. I hope to get them up on our blog soon. We had a lot of fun with that one. Now I'm babbling so I'll stop typing now.
