as regular traveller to Tenerife,i am a disabled passenger who walks with 2 crutches,i always get a taxi, yes its more expensive but well worth the extra just to be sure you get a seat, why start your hoilday off with uncomfotable hassle, just found your channel and subbed
You knew you would be last on the bus so would most likely not get a seat so why not wait for the next one and guarantee yourself a seat of your choice ?
Hi, I've just booked a holiday in Tenerife next September, having been a frequent visitor to Gran Canaria for the last five years. I'm obviously wondering how to get from the airport to Las Americas and yours was the first video that popped up. I must say that I've never seen a bus that crowded in GC, not even the ones from the airport. That would have been a nightmare for me, having to stand with my bad back . . . It kind of goes against my general stinginess to get a taxi but maybe I will. The queue looked bad enough. Must admit, I was a bit worried about you overheating. Did you really need that thick sweatshirt?? Thanks for the info, very useful.
The Titsa bus service is great - can get all around the island most hours of the day and night, and every day of the year. I can go to Santa Cruz knowing I can get a bus home at any hour - even 3am in the morning back to the south. Cheap travel - most fares with the card are around €1.45-€2.
Same as if a Spanish person tried getting on a bus at Manchester airport and started asking questions in Spanish. Bus driving is not a dual language job. The drivers her can be put on any route from the northern mountains where no one speaks any English, to airport buses (where 75% percent of arrivals are from Europe, not UK). He should have recognised a disability card though as the symbols are the same.
Yes, if using bank card - you can pay the driver with visa/mastercard in your currency, like you would pay anywhere with a UK debit/credit card. I use my UK Revolut card to pay and I live here.
😂😂 get a taxi! It wasn’t pleasant for you if your have a disability. It’s a toss up on budget and comfort. Life’s too short to be squashed. And stand waiting! Plus they don’t arrive right at your destination. I think people just worry about getting ripped off by TAXI drivers but you showed in your previous video that was fairly reasonable in price for the distance. 😊

There are disabled seats, marked on the chair ... The blonde woman wearing the 'stawberry' spotted blouse was sitting in one of them about 4m in
