😊👍 I don't actually have a drill,on the other boxes I have on the fence and garage,I just used a screw and screwdriver, the box in the video in on brick, and there was a slight gap in the brickwork,so I just hammered a nail in
I can't tell if it's the same one going in & out or 2 adults. Possible they are checking it out, kinda a little late in their breeding season. Alternatively, they've got young and been there a while Ady.
Ironically, if they have young in there it won't be one or two. Nature expects losses hence they often lay 6 eggs or more. I know you feel these things very personally Ady, but you just have to let nature take its course. As painful as it can be. Magpies and Jays lose young to Sparrowhawk, so it's not all one way.
Wonderful 🐦 ❤❤❤❤❤

Lovelyy neighbor!😍😍

Its nice watching them, the box is in a great spot. I fancied buying one, but I am not very good at d.i.y lol. I'm terrible at drilling.

@@adyfinch2918 I might try that next year, I automatically assume you need a drill for everything lol.

I've never used a drill before,I'm quite happy with a screwdriver 😉

I think it's 2 Adults,I've heard noises from the box for a couple of weeks,it's just the 1st chance I got to get some footage
Worth keeping an eye Ady, if they are going in and out repeatedly I personally would suspect young in the nest.

While very nice,it comes with added stress 😩 lots of Magpies and a few Jay's visit my garden daily 🙈

Oooh, lucky you Ady. Hope you get to see them fledge! Is that a Wilkos nestbox like mine? Lol
