I’ve never had cordylines before watching your videos. Then over a year ago I bought a couple, then bought a few more, then more…then I started transplanting cuttings. They are amazing.
I love the colors of cordylines. It really adds a lovely contrast against green foliage. I'm obsessed too you are not alone. In addition, whenever you plant something you are closer to God so keep planting 😍
I thought I was going to have to purchase more cordylines to cover all the bark. I followed your instructions from a previous video & voila! They have beautifully multiplied! Now I can't stop bc I love them so much! Thank you for all your tips!😍🌴
I started with one clump plus 2 singles from a nursery - I followed the Jennifer Method and now I have 1 clump and 6 swaths throughout my garden. Amazing!
My neighbor has them across the front in a single row and for 25 years they have been all legs with a pouf on top. I thought that’s how they grew and would never plant them. But since watching your videos, I’ve realized I can and will either layer with a lower planting in front to hide the legs or prune and plant the cuttings to fill them out.
Yes, and it might be a good idea when you cut those, to take out a little bit of the soil in the pot and replenish it with some new soil to give those new plants some energy to come back or do a liquid fertilizer a few times while they’re flushing out but make sure to cut them in a staggering effect and you’re really going to get a nice potted arrangement. Good luck true gardener.
Beautiful 😊

Wow, I like that plants ❤
Really appreciate this lesson on how, where and when to trim to encourage new growth to fill in and fluff out.

Love me some cordylines! Does this propagation technique work in pots as well? If they become too leggy in pots, can you do this?
Yes absolutely
Love cordylines!
Off topic, but could you do a video on preparing plants for a freeze? Hearing around the 12th, we will have one in Florida!
Absolutely! Actually recording one today haha! 😆
