@@neptune-cs3gh I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think anyone who’s under the impression society will return to “the way it was” anytime within the near future isn’t living in reality. The Government has already stated numerous times that even after getting vaccinated you must still wear a mask and social distance. I’ve talked to many people who say they can’t see themselves attending a social event or being in a large crowd for years after this as well as keeping a mask on regardless of whether or not Covid goes away. The Government isn’t even trying to hide the fact that they know we will be in this current state for months or even years. Most people’s lives depending on where they live or what they enjoy doing aren’t generally affected by what’s going on, those like my father who’ve lost their job and/or business and have had their lives affected are mostly ignored by the media. The “new normal” isn’t just a phrase, it means exactly what it says. Society is being conditioned to accept this for what it is regardless of their opinion on it. Again, I hope to God I’m wrong and we get back to normal sometime soon. I’m simply making a prediction based on what I’ve seen for what the future looks like.
For all curious, this was the fourth largest home crowd in Penn State's history (110,669). This whole game was absolutely crazy. As an Iowa fan, I am NOT looking forward to us playing in Beaver Stadium next year.

To think he almost became Joe's replacement?!!! There is one other CFB crowd scream/cheer that I will remember....it was the Michigan vs Appalachian State game..... all the students left early in the 4th and then much of the rest of the stadium filed out too! We wondered what he hell was going on and how despicable to leave before the game was over!!! My wife is a football fanatic! We were playing FIU on first game of season, beautiful sunny day in Happy Valley....then go into the concourse and it's PACKED!! Everyone is watching the monitors of App St upsetting #5 Michigan!!! this would be one of those games where it would be dangerous to go to if you were rooting for the visiting team
nah there’s usually a small chunk of like 500 people wearing the opposing teams jersey all in one group in the top right of the stadium. other side from the student section
And I'd add that PSU fans are not a-holes to opposing fans. I went to a home game against OSU and had some fans come over to our tailgate for a bit and we went to theirs. Smiled listening to them chant the O-H-I-O back and forth with other fans. It's all a good time.
Maryland fan, but ill be damned if I didnt say I respect the hell out of whiteout. Insane.
Still happy to be a part of this one, it was nuts. Let’s go get em next tear boys #beatOSU
2:34 is what y’all came here for
What song
White out games are probably the most terrifying thing in the Big Ten right behind Kinnick at night. Having to call a timeout without a single play happening is insane!
I think our white out better bro 🥴
I mesn can u guys really best having to call timeout BEFORE THE FIRST SNAP???
College football has the best atmosphere of all sports
The white out is the single greatest event in college football. As an Iowa state fan I wish we could come halfway close to this
Props to PSU! Awesome stuff! I love watching y'alls white out games! From a LSU fan! I have seen quarterbacks melt in Death Valley at Tiger Stadium!
Been to LSU for games, nothing like THE White Out, but I was told to come back when you play Bama at night. I'm sure that's a scream fest too!!
I will say that Urban Meyer said he's been in all the stadiums in Big10 and SEC and hates the White Out, he says its the most craziest atmosphere he's ever endured.
UA-cam videos of stadiums and schools across the Big 10 showed the same thing happening. It's like an entire conference was cheering on APP St to knock off Michigan!!!
After all these years I’m now finding out about this amazing tradition.
chills, glad to experience this as a blue band member
Charlie Nawa I hope to march my first year in blue band this fall assuming they don’t cancel it:/
Auburn fan here...I gotta say you guys got it going on...see yall Saturday

@@chrismoore488 I slowed it down she's waving the 18

Going to be a freshman at PSU this year and I can’t wait 🤩
