AKENA OBOTE VISITS DR. MILTON OBOTE COMMAND CENTRE, 200 LONG UNDERGROUND CHANNEL
Jimmy Akene, the son to late Dr. Apollo Milton Obote, the former president of Uganda, visited the home of a strong mobilizer of Uganda People’s Congress party, in Dokolo district, northern Uganda, late Dr. Sevrino Abwango, at Alwala village in Dokolo district, northern Uganda where he saw with his own eyes improvised upstairs where his farther used to hold meetings.
According to Joseph Otim, Clan leader, Milton Obote survived through a 200-meter long underground channel when Amins army wanted to arrest him during a meeting at this very place.
