- After a quick fact check, I noticed that one of my commenters was right and the images I had previously used in my old comparison video were actually from 2019. So I have now updated the video with the correct year date and also I decided to make the video a proper visual demonstration of how they actually perform from both years.
I'm glad I got to visit them in 2022, was a real blast seeing their show in person, especially in fully working condition.

2019 Beach Bear honestly bears an uncanny resemblance to the deflated girl from that old anti-weed ad, but on the flip side, I think he looks the best of all the restored animatronics!

The show at BBWL was in such bad shape for the entirety of the 2010's because the guy that owned the place wasn't willing to invest the time and money needed to keep aging animatronics running correctly, not to mention that he had a falling out with Aaron Fechter. But someone else bought out the location a few years ago and they made it a priority to bring the show back to its former glory, and so say they've largely succeeded would be an understatement.
