I have used a bench vise for a long time in place of a hammer tap like you show to remove pan slop. A slow squeeze will allow me/you to watch the pan move to get your tension. I would probably smack my hand using a hammer with my previous eyesight (recent cataract surgery has really improved my aim) . Looking forward to see your trip to Arkansas and the different background you'll be in. Enjoy the trip!
Properly working gear is key! Keep the trap talk coming,i've have made some mods to other types of traps on tips from you and all have proven effective.Thank you for sharing and good luck down south.
I'm glad I came across this video as i have a few that I was tryin to figure out how to make them work better and I hate that floppy pan as if ur not careful it will flop n the trap goes off
I’ve used the miles trigger system before on a bunch of mine and it works pretty good. Never thought of just smashing the gap closed. Neat idea! Good luck down south!
