- This is a live performance of High Water by The Magpie Salute on FIP (French radio).This performance features Rich Robinson and John Hogg and was recorded on June 11, 2018. High Water I will be available on August 10, 2018.
Although this isn't how the song will appear on the album as it is a LIVE performance, I had to share it because it is a fantastic version of the song and it needs to be documented somewhere. Enjoy!

Dramatic. I like the way Mogg phrases when he sings this. Shades of Marriott's version of "Red Balloon" before Pie. Rich is one of the more interesting guitarists of the last 30 years.

They were awesome live at the Cabot theatre on Beverly MA last night. John sang his ass off, Rich was the guru,Marc F'n Ford and JoMo kicked ass Sven And Matt held it down. A great night!
They also did an amazing version of 'you don't have to cry' by CSN. Mind blowing.
Update: too bad Rich turned out to be a money grubbing POS and broke the band up.

I think I have heard this song about 60x already. Something about it touches your soul. Listen with some good headphones and close your eyes. It will feel like John's singing directly to you. As if Rich & John brought their acoustic guitars over y kicking it in your living room.
