9-6=3 MOVE THE upper left vertical match from the 9 total to the bottom left vertical position of 5 thus transforming 9 into 3 & 5 into six ergo EZPZ!!!
1:53 7-0=1 (AN ALTERNATIVE) Tilting the top right-hand match in the zero at 90 degrees will turn the zero into a six. The equation becomes 7-6=1 which is also correct.
The only answer not given is 9-5=9 It actually has 2 correct answers: 1. Take the vertical left stick from the second 9 ( makes it a 3) and make the other 9 an 8(8-5=3) 2. Take the same stick and turn the 5 into a six 9-6=3
2:46 If inequalities are allowed, put one of the matchsticks of the equals sign at an angle to the other matchstick so that the equation reads 4-1 < 4.
You could take the "one" and move it over the minus sign making it a plus sign and that would be read as: 4 + = 4. ( Four plus zero = 4) Zero does not have to listed as a numeral...any blank in an equation is equal to zero.
Move the minus sign over the equals sign to make 41 not equal to 4. Many of the other problems can be solved in a similar manner by creating a "not equals" situation.
#2 alternate: take the upright from plus sign and put it at the top of 1 to make it 7... 7-7=0. #6: the second 9 - take the left match from the 9 to make it 3, then put it on the bottom left of the 5 making it a 6... 9-6=3.
#2: 7-7+0, move the plus sign match to make the 1 into 7; #5: 41=41, move the minus sign match to the right of everything make it 41 and 41 is remaining on the left.
Do the sticks have to remain in the puzzle for it to be considered a valid solution? On #1, the top of the 7 could be removed, leaving 0+1=1. #4 could be 7-6=1. #6 is 8-5=3
Move the vertical left stick on 9 on the LHS of the equation (to convert 9 to 3) and place it as the lower vertical stick to convert 5 into 6; 9 - 6 = 3.
#6. From the 9, move the top left stick and put that on the bottom-right part on the five, that makes the 9 a 3. And that makes the 5 a 6. So, 9-6=3! People who also got this, reply and say "Same"
Does anyone ever pause the video for five minutes just to thinkk of the answer and then gives up, unpauses the video, sees the answer and feels so stupid?
I have only looked at the first two so far, but, for#1 -> 0+1=1 (using a vertical match to extend the 1 on the right) and for #2 -> 7-1=6 (using a vertical match on the upper left of the zero to make it into a six)
For puzzle #4, another valid solution is 7-6=1. The original puzzle was 7-0=1. However, if one examines the "0", and moves the upper right matchstick to a lower vertical position such that the 0 becomes a 6, then 7-6 =1.
I wonder for the last one, can moving the stick from the first nine and put it over the equal sign to make 3-5 (not equal sign) 9 count as an answer? I know the normal answer, and some people in the chat here mentioned it, by moving the stick from the second 9 to the first nine and make it 8-5=3
no. that cannot be a valid answer, because technically you can create a not-equal sign for all questions by moving ANY STICK from ANY NUMBER, meaning you are not playing the game。
Another way is you take the top-left stick from the 9 and put it on the bottom-left part on the 9, witch makes the 9 a 3, and the other 9 a 8. So, 8-5=3! The people (Or Monsters, Bots, Ect..) who got this, reply and say "Yep!"
Last 9 - 6 = 3 ... take left-top vertical from result 9 (will become 3) and place it to left-botom vertical of 5 (will become 6) ... 9 - 6 = 3 ... anyway .. nice video
For the 4-1=4, change the angle of the top line of the = sign so its left end touches the left end of the bottom line, making it a "less than" sign. Four minus one is less than four.
#1 puzzle: take out top vertical match stick from 7 0+1=1 #2: take out horizontal stick from plus sign and add in vertical top with 1 to make it 7 7 - 7 = 0 #6: take out top left vertical stick from 9 in right side to make it 3 and add it to 5 at bottom to make it 6 9 - 6 = 3 9
number 5, you could send the minus sign to make a 1 in the other side of the equation and get 41 = 41 but there would be a space between the 4 and the1
Problem 2 . A Remove the vertical match on the plus sign and use it to make the 1 into a 7 giving 7-7=0 B remove one of the matches on the one leaving it half as tell but still saying 1 and use it to make the zero into an 8 giving 7+1=8
7 - 0 =1 has a second answer. Like in the given answer, move the top match from the 7, making it a one; then move the removed match to the other side of the equation as 1 to the first power. 1 - 0 = 1 (to first power).
#2 - A better solution is to take the vertical stick of the plus sign and make the 1 a 7, making the equation 7-7=0.
That was my solution as well. Way to go Vickie!
Did the same
Agreed.
It's not a better solution, just a different solution.
an 'equally' good solution...
9-6=3
MOVE THE upper left vertical match from the 9 total to the bottom left vertical position of 5 thus transforming 9 into 3 & 5 into six ergo EZPZ!!!
1:07 Or 7-7= 0.
2:06 Or 7-6= 1.
I have two answers for 3:10: One is 9-6= 3, the other is 8-5= 3.
Great Job!👍 Ram Bay
Also 4 == 4 as used in the language C++
What about 4+=4
I thought it was | 4 | = 4

I saw that too.
That was my solution too.
at 1:55 you can also make 7-0=1 to be 7-6=1 by taking the 0's top left match and rotate it horizontally across the middle of the 0
2:00 Another solution is to take the top right hand matchstick of 0 and put it across the middle so that it becomes 6, making the equation 7-6=1.
Was about to say the same thing
My daughter and I came up with different solutions, both involving moving the top left vertical stick on the 9 on the right: 8-5=3, or 9-6=3
Make it 8-5=3 by taking match from final 9 (making it a 3) and adding the stick to first 9 (making it an 8)
Excellent work 👍Keep it up
Aha. I didn't think of that, I was racking my brain. Thanks
I think you can also move the same stick and turn the equation to
9-6=3 but I like your solution better. 😊
Take the vertical stick from the “+” and move it to the equal sign, to the make it “ ≠ “
This works for almost every equation with a plus sign.

Good idea but when you move the minus sign there is a large space between the 4 and the 1. Technically you are right though.
