Although without Judith Durham, but Karen Knowles' is definitely beautiful and a worthy replacement to keep the Seekers going. I could not believe the thumbs down on this performance.
Keith and the boys clearly tuned the backing melodies to the adapt them to the voice of Karen Knowles, which is very different from Judiths soprano. The result was as always very nice.
The world needs more voices from the sounds of Angel's in this world. The Seekers and Judith and Karen are such Angel's. To those who don't appreciate the sounds of Angel's please keep your sounds where it belongs in the garbage. I know and believe that their are many more of us who appreciate the beautiful music that each of the Seekers have brought us through out our life time. Intolerance and hate seems to be your agenda against others who have different opinions than yours--freedom of expression, which is what makes freedoms in free nations great; aligning with our first amendment freedom of speech here in America is something to be cherished--for some of us--not you apparently. Actually, while this music sound nice--I prefer the regular Seekers with Judith singing the folk songs they are known for, such as "Colours of My Life," etc.(never been a Christmas music fan). So then according to your philosophy--my preference is "garbage?"
