When she put down the mic, I got this sense of desperarion to be heard. It's really soulful, and I could hear that she sings it with all her heart. I couldn't help but cry. It's just utmost perfection.

Honestly, in music, if you use your mic to control your sound, it doesn't really look good. It's like you are depending your vocal control in mic and not on your skills. But she really did a good job especially the emotions she showed while she was singing.
@@Denisushi Most singers don't care about how it looks because they know most listeners have zero knowledge of vocal techniques. Some people, like her, do it out of pure passion which is why she has the ball to go on a stage on live TV and sing with no mic, no music, nothing but raw voice. Most, if not all, career vocalists would refuse even the idea of maybe trying this out.
There's nothing kpop about this. Don't get me wrong, I like kpop too. Just like I enjoy a bag of skittles. But I know the bag of skittles is not on the level of a good Fillet Mignon.
You're gonna have a bunch of highpitch voice little girls singing "dududuparapapang bim boom look at me I'm pretty" for their chorus and the next song will be a grown woman not trying to be catchy and weirdly sexually objectified, drop her mic and throw out vocal skills twice the level of that previous group combined.
Even if it's the same language, it's not the same universe at all.

both types of singing and performances are, like you said, way different in terms of their own right. you can't possibly compare these two things together in competing for superiority and "which one is the 'better' thing". what you did was literally just showing how shallow-minded your approach to either of these music types is.

She really really really deserved to be the winner, although that's just my opinion.. I was just blown away by her performance and it just left me with tears streaming down my face and goosebumps all over!!! Every single performance of hers is just pure heaven!!!

As much as I understood why people would cry when people would sing so soulfully and just... full of emotion and power, I never was able to actually experience that. I was moved, definitely, multiple times by amazing singers. However, it wasn't until Son Seung Yeon was budding as a singer and I'd listen to her, especially on this show, and I finally really understood. There are so many performances of hers that I just cry my eyes out because of the way she sings. Please support her more.

When i hear this song 2 years back, im really fell in love with this almost "10 years ago" song by Kim Bum Soo. This cover version really bring out the meaning of this song really well. When you hear it, it like you been bring back to the memories when you first time in love and the relationship is not going well, but, you still love him/her. Haha. I love Seungyeon and when I saw the song I was like "No way... No. Way." and turns out I was right! One of my favorite songs by Kim Bum Soo. The reason why most of the audience is stunned is not only because her voice is absolutely outstanding but because the lyrics of the song are so sad and deep. Look at the lyrics when you have time people :)

This is one of her best performances I've watched. It's outstanding! She deserves to have a standing ovation. The moment she sing without a mic and music, I literally cried. 😭 Tears just kept falling. 😭 And that's the same feeling you'll get if you're listening to it with your eyes close. She always give justice to every song and sings it with her heart. That's what I love about her. For me, she's best female singer in Korea. 😍👏👍
